19th century prophecy of Ven. Magdalene Porzat: “Mary comes to prepare the place for Her Son in His Triumphant Church… It is the house of God on earth that will be purified and prepared to receive the Emmanuel. Jesus Christ cannot return to this hovel that is the world…”

1934, message of Jesus to St. Faustina Kowalska, Poland: “Mankind will not find peace until it turns with confidence to My Mercy.”

1945, message of Jesus to the visionaries of Heede, Germany: “Now I myself come in this last hour to warn the world. The times are grave. Let men do penance for their sins. Turn away sincerely from evil and pray, pray much, that God’s wrath may be appeased. Pray the Holy Rosary frequently, that prayer that can do so much before God. Less amusements and pastimes…”

Our Lady’s message to Blessed Elena Aiello, Calabria (Italy): “I am bending over the world and holding back God’s Justice, otherwise those things would have already happened [the chastisements]. Prayer and sacrifices are needed. Men must return to God and to my Immaculate Heart…. Speak out loud. Spread these words everywhere as a true echo of my voice. Make them known, for this will help save many souls and prevent much of the destruction of the Church and the world.”

May 22, 1966, message from Jesus to Mother Carolina Venturella, Italy: “…Even more calamitous times will come for humanity…for the Church…and the faith of the good will be sorely tried… Let my voice therefore be heeded…let the Holy Spirit be honored…let the need for this due homage be understood, in which I promise you lies the only hope for the present and the future…”

Nov. 3, 1978, message from Jesus to Bishop Ottavio Michelini, Italy: “…humanity does not know what hangs over its head and this is terrible… men must know, must know… that is why these messages! Fortunate are those who will lend faith to them!… I love all My creatures, I have loved them so much that for them and for their salvation I did not hesitate to die on the Cross because I am the Love child, but I am also Justice. This must be known by all those who persist in the blind obstinacy of rejection and resistance to the Love that has so far knocked in vain on their hearts!”

Sept. 9, 1975, message of Jesus to Bishop Ottavio Michelini, Italy: “…the men of today are no better than the pre-diluvian men. The cities of today are no better than Sodom and Gomorrah. To no avail have the many reminders, to no avail have the many interventions by Me and my Mother. To no avail have the many partial chastisements. The men of this century have filled the measure, they have hardened hearts in iniquity, and the total punishment would have already taken place if it had not been for the intervention of My Mother and your Mother, for Her interposing Herself between you and Divine Justice. And had it not been for the victimized, courageous, generous, heroic souls to immolate themselves as living lamps before my altars…. The inhabitants of corrupt Nineveh believed and repented at the prophet’s threatening calls, and so they were saved. But the men of this perverse generation, who reject God, will not go immune from the chastisements of Divine Justice.”

1981-1988, message of Our Lady to the visionaries of Kibeho Rwanda: “I have come to prepare the way for my Son for your good and you do not want to understand. There is little time left and you are distracted. You are distracted by the ephemeral goods of this world. I have seen many of my children get lost and I have come to show them the true way.”

Visionary Alphonsine Mumureke, Kibeho: “If Mary is coming to Kibeho it is to prepare [men] for the return of her Son.”

1984, Our Lady’s message to Maria Esperanza Bianchini, Betania Venezuela: “…I am coming to reconcile them, to seek them out, to give them faith, which has disappeared in the noise and din of an atomic awakening that is almost about to explode. My message is one of faith, love and hope. Most of all it must bring reconciliation among peoples and nations. This is the only thing that can save this century from war and eternal death…”

December 30, 1983, Our Lady’s message to Gladys Quiroga de Motta, San Nicolás: “…you have been called to be a bearer of peace and so that the urgent call of Jesus Christ for the conversion of man may be known. I am concerned for the whole world; remember that only the Lord will save you. (Read: Jonah 4:11… “And should I not have pity on Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand people, who cannot distinguish between their right and left hands, and a great number of animals?”)

January 8, 1984, message from Our Lady to Gladys Quiroga de Motta, San Nicolás: “Right now humanity is hanging by a thread. If that thread breaks, many will not have salvation. That is why I call for reflection. Hurry, because time is running out. There will be no room for those who arrive late. The Lord desires everyone to enjoy His Kingdom…”

Feb. 6, 1987, message from Our Lady to Gladys Quiroga de Motta, San Nicolás: “Daughter, in this time the Ark is me, for all your brothers and sisters. I am the Ark of Peace, the Ark of Salvation, the Ark where my children will have to enter if they wish to live in the Kingdom of God.”

November 22, 1987, Divine Appeal No. 40 from Jesus to Sister Anna Ali, Kenya: “The Freemasons and all other devil worshipers want to erase brotherly love from the world, replacing it with divisions and blood…I call everyone to do penance and pray…”

Our Lady’s message to Patricia Talbot, Cuenca, Ecuador: “Humanity must pray and sacrifice in reparation for the sins of the world. There are coming upon the world days of tribulation as great as any known since the beginning of time.”

Seer Patricia Talbot, Cuenca, Ecuador: In October 1988, Our Lady entrusted Patricia with a three-part secret. Explains the seer, “She gave me the secret that there are bad things that are going to happen in the world, and [she said] that the one that is being asked for is conversion.” The seer reportedly stated that all three sides have something to do with future events that will be chastisements for our world.

Message from Our Lady to Patricia Talbot, Cuenca, Ecuador: Our Lady has spoken several times about the possibility of a Third World War, natural disasters and man-made disasters: “Children, know that everything you do is for the benefit of the world. Your prayers, penances, and fasts are helping to prevent the determination of World War III… It is up to you whether the chastisement will be as severe as the pain my Son is experiencing or whether instead [the chastisement] will be appeased through prayer… Great catastrophes are coming upon humanity…”

March 13, 1991, Our Lady’s message to Nancy Fowler, Conyers: “Today’s message is: pray America…I implore you from My Motherly Heart…Without prayer a soul withers and dies…I come as a loving Mother to invite you to come out of darkness and into light. I bless you.”

Feb. 10, 1991, message of Jesus to Nancy Fowler, Conyers: “I come through My Mother and I want you, dear children, to come through My Mother on the journey that brings you back to Me.”

Oct. 15, 1992, Our Lady’s message to Nancy Fowler, Conyers: “The Blessed Virgin tearfully said, ‘I have come to tell you that the mother’s wombs have become the concentration camps of the world. Make these words echo throughout the world. Why do My children not weep? Why are only very few of My children concerned about this situation? Please tell My children that the blood of slaughtered children will fall upon the whole world…Abortion is murder. My Son’s hand will continue to strike the earth until you stop. Stop violating God’s laws.”

Oct. 25, 1993, message from Our Lady, Medjugorje: “Dear children, in these years I have been inviting you to pray and to live what I tell you, but you live My messages little. You speak but you do not live: that is why, My children, this war (the war in the former Yugoslavia) lasts so long. I call you to open yourselves to God and to live with God in your hearts, practicing goodness and witnessing My messages. I love you and wish to protect you from all evil, but you do not want to! Dear children, I cannot help you if you do not live God’s Commandments, if you do not live the Mass, if you do not reject sin. I invite you to become apostles of love and goodness. In this world without peace, witness to God and His love; and God will bless you and give you what you ask of Him…”

May 15, 1995, voice heard by Fabio Gregori, one of the visionaries of Civitavecchia, Italy: “Never forsake the sacraments, Confession, prayer, fasting and the body of Christ Jesus in Holy Mass, for my coming will be very soon.”

May 19, 1995, voice heard by Fabio Gregori, one of the visionaries of Civitavecchia, Italy: “A very bad tragedy is coming upon humanity. He is not realizing that he is about to enter into a world war that can be stopped. […]. Stop this war! You have the most powerful weapons of those used, which are love, prayers, humility, the Rosary and the true conversion of your hearts toward God through our Heavenly Mother who is holding you all in her arms, close to her Immaculate Heart. I beseech you, no longer allow Me to weep My blood for all the children who turn away from Her Immaculate Heart […]”

August 26, 1995, Our Lady’s message to Civitavecchia, Italy: “Dear children, I weep because I am speaking to you in every part of the world giving you extraordinary signs, but you do not listen to Me. I am presenting myself to you in every form, but you do not accept me with true love in your hearts. You see my tears as a sign of curiosity, but your hearts remain hard and you do not allow the light of the Lord to enter.”

Some signs of the times that will indicate the imminence of the Last Times

Not in all the prophecies given in this paragraph is explicit reference to the End Times. The signs of the times that are illustrated in some of these prophecies, even when they are not statedly related to End Times events, are nevertheless traceable to the purification that will precede the Era of Peace; and according to many prophecies both of these stages are part of the End Times. A better understanding of these events will be gained after reading the following paragraphs which deal precisely with purification, the great chastisement and the Era of Peace.

Twelfth-century prophecy of St. Thomas Becket: “…Wars and wonders will occur until people believe in Christ, toward the end of the world.”

Fourteenth-century prophecy, St. Vincent Ferrer: “…A time shall come which none hitherto hath seen: the Church shall mourn: widows shall rise beating their breasts, and shall find no comfort: now it is far off, but it shall come unfailingly, and shall be very near that time when two shall begin to proclaim themselves kings: their days shall be short-lived.

Weep; old men and elders: plead, weep if some of you witness such a great roar, as there was none, will be none, nor are we expected to see a greater one, except that which will be experienced at the Judgment.

But sadness will become joy: the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords will purify and renew everything. France, with her pride, will be utterly annihilated: her prince, woe! woe!…the days will not be long in coming; they are already at the gates: you will see a sign and you will not recognize it; but beware that at that time women will dress like men and behave according to their pleasure and licentiously; men will dress vilely like women.”

15th century, prophecy of Blessed Amedeo da Silva: “In the last days there will be great wars and bloodshed.”

18th century, prophecy of the monk Basil of Kronstadt, St. Petersburg: “When the bishop of Rome assumes two names [the reference would seem to be to John Paul II] an empire will be close to collapse: that of blasphemy [Soviet Union or USA/Europe]. But it would be folly to rejoice with joy, for it will not be the end but the beginning of sorrows: the dark specter of misery will swirl in the sky like a cloud gone mad and cast a shadow over many peoples. There will be a shortage of bread even in rich countries, wars will slither over the earth like poisonous snakes: everything will be ruined because everyone will talk about love, but no one will know love of neighbor anymore.

Christians will be numerous, but they will have forgotten the Christian law and their faith will be of words. To the patriarchs, to the bishop of Rome who will bathe the earth with his blood, Heaven will entrust the task of taking the Church back to its origins. This will be the time to leave the palaces and return to humility, to the peace of the catacombs, to revive the Church of the martyrs of the faith. Salvation will come from the few, but saints. If love does not sprout, a second empire (USA) will fall and with it, Rome.” (Pope John Paul I and Pope John Paul II are the only pontiffs in history to have taken on two names. They were both elected in 1978. John Paul I, elected Aug. 26, lasted only 33 days in office).

18th-century prophecy of Father Nectou: “The elements themselves will be upset. It will be like a small General Judgment. A great multitude of people will perish in these times of calamity…. This disaster will happen shortly after England’s power has begun its decline. This will be the sign. Just as when the fig tree begins to bud and produce leaves, this is a sure sign that summer is near.”

“…Before the war breaks out again, food will be scarce and very expensive. There will be little work for workers, and fathers will hear their children weep for hunger. There will be earthquakes and signs in the sun….

19th-century prophecy, the Ecstatic of Tours: “When everyone thinks peace is assured, when everyone least expects it, the great event will begin. Revolution will break out in Italy, almost at the same time as in France. For a while the Church will be without a Pope.”

19th century, prophecy of Ven. Magdalene Porzat: “…It is now twenty-six years since I announced to you the seven crises, the seven plagues and pains of Mary which should precede her triumph and our healing:

1. The inclemency of the seasons and floods;
2. Diseases to animals and plants;
3. Cholera on men;
4. Revolutions;
5. Wars;
6. General bankruptcy;
7. Confusion.

[…] A great event will have to happen to terrify the wicked for their benefit.”

19th century, prophecy of Blessed Anna Catherine Emmerich: “The Jews will return to Palestine and become Christians toward the end of the world.”

Dec. 26, 1936, message of Jesus to St. Faustina Kowalska, Poland: “May all mankind know My unfathomable Mercy. This is a sign for the end times, after which the Day of Justice will come. While there is time let them have recourse to the spring of My Mercy…”

May 1938, message of Jesus to St. Faustina Kowalska, Poland: “I love Poland in a special way…From it will come the spark that will prepare the world for My last coming [according to some, John Paul II would be mentioned here].”

Pope Pius XII had this to say: Humanity must prepare itself for sufferings such as it has never experienced before.” He described the approaching times as a period of great spiritual conflict. According to the pontiff, this period would be “the darkest since the time of the Flood.” He added, “The hour has come. The battle, the most vast, bitter and fierce that the world has ever known, has been reached. It must be fought to the end.” [This is not an actual prophecy, but it cannot be denied that Pius XII in making these statements was inspired by the Holy Spirit.]

20th century, message of Jesus to Julka, Croatia: “A little Final Judgment is approaching!”

1981-1988, message of Jesus to Emmanuel, Kibeho Rwanda: “…The world is full of hatred. You will recognize the time of My return when you see religious wars breaking out. When you see this happening, know that I am coming.”

Oct. 1, 1983, message from Our Lady to Amparo Cuevas, El Escorial: “The globe will see the seasons change; the stars will lose their movement; the moon will only spread a faint red glow. When all this happens be ready because the end of times will be near… The earth will give bad crops, not good fruit. Water and light will cause the globe to have great convulsions…great cities will be landed.”

March 13, 1990, Our Lady’s message to Fr. Stefano Gobbi: “You read in the Gospel, “When the Son of Man returns, will he still find faith on earth?”…you may wonder why Jesus uttered them. To prepare you for His Second Coming and to describe a circumstance that will be indicative of the nearness of his Glorious Return.”

March 13, 1990, Our Lady’s message to Fr. Stefano Gobbi: “…The loss of faith is true apostasy. The spread of apostasy is therefore the sign that indicates that the Second Coming of Christ is now near.”

Dec. 31, 1992, Our Lady’s message to Fr. Stefano Gobbi: “…I want to help you understand the signs described in Divine Scripture, which indicate that His Glorious Return is now near. These signs are clearly indicated by the Gospels, the Letters of St. Peter and St. Paul, and are being fulfilled in these years.

1. – The first sign is the spread of errors, which lead to loss of faith and apostasy. These errors are propagated by false teachers, by celebrated theologians who no longer teach the truths of the Gospel, but pernicious heresies, based on erroneous and human reasoning… [cited here are: Mt. 24:5-9; 2 Thess. 2:3; 2 Pet. 2:1-3]
2. – The second sign is the outbreak of wars and fratricidal strife, leading to the predominance of violence and hatred and a general cooling of love, while natural disasters such as epidemics, famines, floods and earthquakes are becoming more frequent… [cited here: Mt. 24:6-12].
3. – The third sign is the bloody persecution of those who remain faithful to Jesus and His Gospel and remain strong in the true faith. Meanwhile, the gospel is being preached in every part of the world… [cited here: Mt. 24:9-10].
4. – The fourth sign is the horrible sacrilege, carried out by the one who opposes Christ, that is, the antichrist. He will enter God’s holy temple and sit on his throne, making himself worshiped as God…. [cited here are: 2 Thess. 2:4-9; Mt. 24:15; Dan. 12:9-12] Accepting Protestant doctrine, it will be said that the Mass is not a sacrifice, but only the holy supper, that is, the remembrance of what Jesus did at His Last Supper. And so the celebration of the holy Mass will be suppressed. In this abolition of the daily sacrifice consists the horrible sacrilege carried out by the antichrist, the duration of which will be about three and a half years, that is, one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
5. – The fifth sign consists of extraordinary phenomena, which take place in the firmament of heaven…. [here it is quoted: Mt. 24:29] The miracle of the sun, which took place in Fatima during my last apparition, is meant to indicate to you that you have now entered the times in which these events will take place, which prepare you for the return of Jesus in glory… [cited here: Mt. 20:40]”

Prophecies giving general indications of when some of the events of the Last Times will occur

Editor’s note: Not in all the prophecies given in this paragraph is explicit reference to End Times events. 14th century, prophecy of St. Bridget of Sweden: “In the year 1980 the wicked will prevail.”

17th century, message of Jesus to Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres, Quito Ecuador: While witnessing the agony of His Son on the Cross, God the Father said to Mother Mariana, “This Chastisement will be for the twentieth century”; whereupon Mother Mariana saw above the head of Christ three swords. On each was written, “I will punish heresy, blasphemy and impurity.”

18th century prophecy by Sister of the Nativity, Fougères France: “One day I found myself in a vast plain, alone with God. Jesus appeared to me, and from the top of a small hill, showing me a beautiful sun on the horizon, He said to me sadly, ‘The world is coming to an end, and the time of My Second Coming is approaching. When the sun is about to set, one knows that the day is almost at an end and that night will soon come. The centuries are like days to Me. Look at this sun, look at how far it still has to move and estimate the time that remains in the world.”

I looked closely and it seemed to me that the sun would set in two hours. Jesus said, “Do not forget that these are not millennia but only centuries, and they are few.”

But I understood that Jesus reserved for Himself the knowledge of the exact number, and I did not wish to ask Him for more. It was enough for me to know that the peace of the Church and the reestablishment of discipline should last for a long enough time.”

19th century, prophecy of Sister Bertina Bouquillon, France: “All these things will be fulfilled once the wicked have succeeded in spreading a large number of bad books. The end of the world is approaching and the Antichrist will not be long in coming. We will not see him and neither will the nuns who follow, but those who come after will be under his rule. The beginning of the last period of the world will not be in the nineteenth century, but in the twentieth.”

October 13, 1884, Vision of Pope Leo XIII: In 1884 Pope Leo XIII, while celebrating Mass, had a vision concerning the future of the Church. It was a dialogue between Our Lord and Satan in which the latter proudly stated that he could destroy the Church and demanded 75 or 100 years and greater power over those who put themselves in his service. Jesus agreed to Satan’s demands and granted him about a century during which he would have freedom to fully exercise the power he demanded.

20th century, message of Jesus to Sister Natalia Magdolna, Hungary: “The end of sin is near, but not the end of the world. Soon the perdition of many souls will come to an end. My words will be fulfilled and there will be ‘one flock and one shepherd’.”

20th century, message of Jesus to Ven. Marthe Robin, France: “…the kingdom of God is approaching…”

June 8, 1976, message of Jesus to Msgr. Ottavio Michelini, Italy: “My Mystical Body will shed its blood, I the Head of it, have shed mine, and the Church, after the year two thousand, regenerated and made new, will go up the path, Mother and not stepmother of peoples.”

Dec. 4, 1982 and Dec. 2, 1995, Our Lady’s messages to Amparo Cuevas, El Escorial: “The end of times has come, the end of ends, My children; The world has come to the end of Times.”

Oct. 13, 1989, Our Lady’s message to Fr. Stefano Gobbi: “The times of the decisive battle have come. The hour of great tribulation has descended upon the world, for the Angels of the Lord are sent, with their scourges, to chastise the earth.”

November 9, 1984, Our Lady’s message to Fr. Stefano Gobbi: “By now you are about to reach the most painful and bloody end of the purification, which will take place in these years, before the great triumph of my Immaculate Heart in the coming to you of the glorious Kingdom of Jesus. It is a design that embraces this century.”

August 19, 1985, message from Our Lady in apparitions in Melleray, Ireland: “God is angry with the world. Men will have to improve and pray. My message is for all the people of God’s Church. Men have ten years to improve and to pray otherwise this will happen” (The visionaries at this point have a vision in which they are shown Noah building the Ark. The boys see many animals, large and small, being brought into the Ark. When Noah, his family and all the animals are inside the Ark, the wind starts to rise and it starts to rain. At that point the seers see a dam break and water spill out and sweep away an entire village. The waters submerge everything, even the mountains. Only the Ark is preserved).

Oct. 29, 1987, Divine Appeal No. 33 from Jesus to Sister Anna Ali, Kenya: “…Pray and atone. With tears in my heart, I call everyone to prayer. This is the hour of the Apocalypse…If they do not repent, they will know only desolation.”

Aug. 15, 1989, Our Lady’s message to Fr. Stefano Gobbi: “The times have come of the struggle and of the greatest conquest by the Dragon, the Beast that comes from the earth and the Beast that comes from the sea. Therefore, these are the times when a civilization without God is being built and all humanity is being led to live without Him. These are the times when Satan and devilish forces are being worshipped by more and more people and thus the spread of satanic worship, sects and black masses becomes wider. These are the times when an idol is being built to be put in place of the true God and the true Church, and this idol is a false Christ and a false Church. These are the times when all those who follow this idol will be marked with its mark on their forehead and hand. These are the times when the faithful followers of the Lamb will be subjected to marginalization, persecution, imprisonment and death. Therefore, these are the times of your constancy.”

September 18, 1988, Our Lady’s message to Fr. Stefano Gobbi: Our Lady told Fr. Gobbi in 1988 that we would have a period of ten years ahead of us, ten decisive years:

“…In this period of ten years the time of the great tribulation, which was foretold to you in divine Scripture, before the second coming of Jesus, will be fulfilled.

In this period of ten years the mystery of iniquity, prepared by the ever-increasing spread of apostasy, will be manifested.

In this period of ten years all the secrets that I have revealed to some of My children will be fulfilled and all the events foretold to you by Me will be fulfilled.”

Note: the times indicated here have evidently been extended and the events announced have been postponed thanks to the intercession of Our Lady (with the decisive contribution of the prayers of her children) who in numerous messages, coming from all parts of the world, affirms that it was she on several occasions who stopped the Arm of her Son who would like to chastise the world. However, it seems clear that the fulfillment of these events is, now more than ever, imminent.

Oct. 26, 1996, message of Jesus to Catalina Rivas, Bolivia: “You have almost at the gates the chastisement imposed by My Father’s Justice; it cannot be avoided, but it can be mitigated through prayer and devotion to My Heart.”

July 30, 1995, message from Our Lady in Civitavecchia, Italy: “[…] My Son Jesus is about to intervene.”

August 25, 1995, message from Our Lady to Civitavecchia, Italy: “Convert My sweet children, for time is coming to an end.”

July 30, 1995, message from Our Lady to Civitavecchia, Italy: “My mantle is now open to all of you, all full of graces, to place you all close to my Immaculate Heart. (It) is about to close, then my Son Jesus will unleash his Divine Justice.”
