(Read all…) Reflections on the Parousia, or Return of Jesus; the warning signs, how, when; to establish his Kingdom of Truth, Holiness and Peace

Part One

1. Chronology: The History of Israel is God’s Clock

The beginnings of the ‘End Times of our Era’ are indicated by some prophecies concerning the history of Israel:

The Lord Jesus (in Matthew 24,3) to this question of his disciples: “Lord, when? What will be the sign of your Parousia and of the end of time? ” he answers (Luke 21:24): “Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the pagans until their times are fulfilled”.

After the dispersions decided by the Roman emperors, in 70 and 132, and 1900 years of exile; in 1948 the Jews returned to Palestine as the seat of their people, (and in 1967 they also regained control of Jerusalem as their capital).

Therefore 1948 is the year of the end of the times of the evangelization of the pagans or of the peoples.

Another chronological reference is the Parable of the Fig tree (Mt 24,32). Fig that Hosea (Hosea 9:10) says is a symbol of Israel: ‘Learn the parable from the fig tree … when the leaves sprout you know that summer is near’.

The fig tree that sets the buds is interpreted as Israel returning to his land. And the return of Jesus will happen within a generation. Jesus says (in Mt 24:34): ‘This generation will not pass away until this happens’.
And Psalm 89.10 says: “The years of our life are seventy, eighty for the most robust”. That is, the return (of Jesus) will take place within 70-80 years from 1948 = that is, from 2018 to 2028.

Another chronological reference is the prophecy of Daniel (Dan 9:25): ” From the utterance of the word that Jerusalem was to be rebuilt Until one who is anointed and a leader, there shall be 7 weeks. After 62 weeks, a consecrated one will be suppressed without fault in him. The people of a prince who will come will destroy the city and the Sanctuary”.

(Ne 2,1-13): Year 445, Decree of Artaxerxes, and return of Nehemiah and part of the exiled Jewish population, to Jerusalem and beginning of the reconstruction of the city of Jerusalem and the Temple. Excluding the -69 weeks x7 = 483 years with our 365-day year; but calculated with the Jewish year of 360 days, we arrive exactly at April 30 of the year 30, the date of the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ on Golgotha in Jerusalem. Then in the year 70 there will be the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans of Titus.

There will also be a number of other signs that will occur in the ‘End Times’ period:

(Matthew 24,7): “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, … nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom will rise up”. (Matthew 24,7), “and there will be famines”. (Luke 21,11): “and there will be pestilences”, (Matthew 24,7): “and there will be earthquakes in various places”. (Luke 21:25): “and the anguish of nations for the roar of the sea and the waves”. (Matthew 24,9) “and they will deliver you to tribulation and will kill you”. (Luke 21.25 – John 2.31, – Acts 2.20): “There will be signs in the sky, the sun will darken and the moon will become like blood”. (Matthew 24,14): “and the Gospel will be preached throughout the world”.

2. The great apostasy

The 2nd Letter to the Thessalonians, 2,1 says: ‘concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ … first the great apostasy must come … and the man of iniquity manifests himself … who will recognize no other God above of himself… until he sits down in the Temple proclaiming himself God ”.

In (Matthew 24,37) Jesus says: “As in the days of Noah, so it will be at the Parousia (Return) of the Son of man”.

What was the situation like in Noah’s time? (Genesis 6,5,11) says: “God saw that the wickedness of men was great on earth and that every desire of their heart was nothing but evil and the earth was corrupt before God and the earth was full of violence”.

(Matthew 24:12): “Because of the increase of iniquities, the love of many will grow cold.” In (2 Letter to Timothy 3,1) it is said: “In the last days … men will be selfish, greedy for gold, boastful, proud, blasphemer … wicked, without love … they will no longer bear sound doctrine”.

(Matthew 24.11): “and many false prophets will arise and deceive many” and in (1 Letter to Timothy 4:14) St. Paul says: “In the end times there will be those who will abandon the faith, to follow seducing spirits” .

3. Enlightenment of consciences

Confirmation miracle. The punishments, for those who reject these signs of God. Up to the “Great Chastisement”.

The enlightenment of consciences is an experience / grace that God, as a further act of great mercy, will give to all the peoples of the earth. Previously Saul / Saint Paul had experienced it at the moment of his conversion, and it is present in the lives of some saints.

To stay in the biblical context, let’s see the experience of Saul / Saint Paul (Acts 9: 1-9): Saul … while he was traveling and was about to approach Damascus, suddenly a light enveloped him from heaven and falling to the ground he heard a voice saying to him: “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”.

He replied, “Who are you, Sir?”

And the voice: “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting! Now get up and go into the city and you will be told what you must do”.

(Acts 22,6-10): “On that journey as I drew near to Damascus, about noon a great light from the sky suddenly shone around me. I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’ I replied, ‘Who are you, sir?’ And he said to me, ‘I am Jesus the Nazorean whom you are persecuting.’ My companions saw the light but did not hear the voice of the one who spoke to me. I asked, ‘What shall I do, sir?’ The Lord answered me, ‘Get up and go into Damascus, and there you will be told about everything appointed for you to do.’”. (Idem Acts 26: 12-18).

The enlightenment of consciences will be followed by a great miracle confirming the divine origin of these events. But because of those who reject these signs of God and still do not believe, God as a further intervention of mercy that aims at conversion and salvation, He will begin to send a series of punishments, up to the “great chastisement” (There is the parallel with the plagues of Egypt of Exodus 7-11, before the exit of Moses and the people from the slavery of Egypt).

It is the content of the two apocalyptic septenaries: The seven trumpets (Apocalypse chap. 8-11) at the end of which there is the intervention of the “Woman clothed with the sun” that is, Mary the Most Holy (Apocalypse chap. 12); and the seven bowls of God’s wrath (Revelation chap 15-20).

4. In the meantime, the Katechon is removed, the obstacle to the manifestation of the wicked one or the anti-Christ

(2 Thessalonians 2: 6-7): “Now you know what prevents the manifestation of him (of the wicked), which will take place in his hour. The mystery of iniquity is already underway, but it is necessary that the one who hold it back up to now (= katechon) must be removed. Only then the wicked one will be revealed”.

5. Increase of the apostasy

During the increase of the apostasy, the manifestation of the Anti-Christ will take place, and (after the enlightenment of consciences and the miracle) the beginning of the chastisements up to the great tribulation

The great tribulation and the antichrist will arrive in the last of the 70 weeks of the prophet Daniel (9:27), in the final 7 years preceding the return of Christ.

The 2nd Letter to the (Thessalonians, 2,3) Saint Paul says: “first the great apostasy must come … and the man of iniquity appears … who will recognize no other God above himself … until he sits in the Temple proclaiming himself God “.

The Anti-Christ is called in (2 Thessalonians 2,3) “the son of perdition”, and in (Revelation 11,7), “the beast that rises from the abyss”.

From (Daniel 9,27) we know that He will begin his last week of 7 years by obtaining the signing of a peace pact between the nations, (including between Jews and Muslims. The overcoming of both the war and the economic crisis will get him the benevolence and the taking of the world power. This character will have extraordinary magnetism and eloquence, he will be recognized by the Jews as the Messiah). But after 3 and a half years, when all power is concentrated, he will throw off the mask, he will break the pact and start the persecution of Christians, and of every believer, including Jews. Until every sacrifice is suspended, so that all recognize him alone as God (Daniel 9,27 and Revelation 13,6-18); and to the point of imposing his mark-sign on every person, without which one cannot buy and sell. (And then, for further certainty of control and identification, he will install the microcip reduced to a grain, under the skin (of the hand or forehead) of the person. And so from a central electronic bank he will be able to control every person, establishing a ruthless dictatorship.)

(Mark 13:19): “Those days will be days of tribulation, the greatest there that has ever been since the beginning of creation… and there will never be again. And if the Lord hadn’t shortened the days, no one would be saved. But because of the elect he has chosen, he has shortened the days “(Idem Matthew 24,21-22).

The Catechism of the Catholic Church: n. 675: “Before the coming of Christ, the church must undergo a final test that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies his pilgrimage on earth will reveal the ‘mystery of iniquity’ in the form of a religious deception that offers men an apparent solution to their problems, at the price of the apostasy of truth. The greatest religious imposture is that of the Anti-Christ, that is, of a pseudo-Messianism in which man glorifies himself in place of God and his Messiah who came in the flesh. “

6. Heaven’s answer

The intervention of the Mother of God, and the intervention of the Lord Jesus:

After the 7 trumpets (Revelation 8-11) and before the 7 bowls of God’s wrath (Revelation 15-20): Intervention of the Mother of God to protect the faithful.

(Revelation 12,1): “Then a great sign appeared in Heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars”.

The Blessed Mother Mary, will intervene in fighting the “great red dragon” (Revelation 12,3) and “the other beast” (Revelation 13,11) the anti-Christ; and to prepare and finally attract “the Lamb” (Revelation 14) his divine Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The period of the punishments of the “seven bowls of God’s wrath will begin (Revelation 15-20). Then He, with his angels, in the battle of Armageddon will conquer all the nations hostile to him and will judge them. And he will annihilate Satan and the antichrist: (Revelation 16.16), prophesied by Ezekiel in chapters 28 and 38. (same Matthew 25, and by Zechariah 14.5, and by Revelation 16.6).

(Revelation 19.11): “I saw a white horse appear, the one sitting on it is called the Faithful, the Truth, He judges and fights with justice … his name is the Word of God … and the heavenly armies accompany him”.

2 Letter to the (Thessalonians 2,8): “The Lord Jesus will kill the antichrist with the breath of his mouth and will annihilate him with the splendor of his coming”.

(Revelation 19,10): “and the beast was taken, and the false prophet, and they were both thrown into the lake of fire”.

(Revelation 20, 1-6): “Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. He grabbed the dragon, the ancient serpent, that is, the devil, Satan, bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the abyss which he closed and sealed over him, so that he might no longer deceive the nations until the thousand years were completed; after this, it is to be released for a short time”.

(Matthew 24,30): Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven with great power and glory. He will send the angels with a great trumpet and they will gather all his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” And this materializes with the ‘taking of the elect’.

7. The rapture, or lifting of the elect

During the time of punishments, there will be the rapture, or lifting of the elect.

(Luke 17:28): “On the day that Lot came out of Sodom, God rained fire and sulfur from heaven, and destroyed them all, so it will be in the days when the Son of man returns, in that night there will be two in a bed, one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding, one will be taken and the other left “.

(Matthew 24,40): “Then two will be in the field, one will be taken and another left. Two women will be grinding, one will be taken and another left “.

Both in this Gospel verses and in (St. Paul, 1 Thessalonians), we see that Jesus in the first part of the Parousia does not touch the ground. He stays high in the clouds. And he transports the taken ones to a place that is not specified (waiting to bring them back to the ‘new Earth’ for the Kingdom of truth, justice, peace, holiness.)

(1 Thessalonians 1:10): “We await from heaven his Son, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus, who delivers us from the coming wrath.”

(1 Thessalonians 4: 15-18): “Indeed, we tell you this, on the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, 3 will surely not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself, with a word of command, with the voice of an archangel and with the trumpet of God, will come down from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together 4 with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, console one another with these words.”

In the Old Testament, Enoch (Hebrews 11.5) and Elijah (2 Kings 2.11) were also taken / elevated to Heaven.

The moment in which the ‘rapture of the elect’ will take place is not clear. It seems that it will happen before the last of the great punishments and the “great chastisement”, to preserve the elect from those extreme sufferings.

Another particular sign during the punishments will be the “Three days of darkness”, mentioned in the fifth bowl, in Rev 16:10: “The kingdom was enveloped in darkness. Men bit their tongues in pain”.

It has the precedent in the ninth plague of Egypt: “Dense darkness came over the whole land of Egypt for three days. They no longer saw each other and for three days no one could move from his place (Exodus 10:23).

8. Renewal of the Earth and establishment of the Kingdom of Truth, Justice and Peace

Finally, liberated from Satan and all his followers, everything will be renewed by the Lord. Jesus will renew the whole earth, establishing his kingdom of peace, brotherhood, holiness. With all the righteous survivors of persecutions and in particular the martyrs (Revelation 20,4-6): “Then I saw thrones; those who sat on them were entrusted with judgment. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast or its image nor had accepted its mark on their foreheads or hands. They came to life and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were over. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over these; they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for (the) thousand years.

Part Two

Private Revelations complementary to Biblical Revelation

We call them “private revelations”, but they are accredited and expressly provided for by public revelation. But they require prudent discernment:

(Acts: “2: 16-21):” It was said through the prophet Joel: It will happen in the Last Times, says God, on everyone I will pour out my Spirit, your sons and your daughters will prophesy … and also on my servants and on my servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy … before the day the Lord comes, great and glorious day. And it will happen that whoever calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved”.

(Amos 3,7): “Verily, the Lord does not do anything without having revealed his counsel to his … without revealing his secret to his servants, the prophets.”

1. Chronological time of the Return

Anna Catherine Emmerick, 1823:

“In the center of hell I saw a dark and horrible looking abyss and into it Lucifer had been thrown, after being securely fastened to chains … God Himself had decreed this; and I was also told, if I remember correctly , that he will be released for a certain period, fifty or sixty years before the year of Christ 2000 ”.

Luisa Piccarreta, from Our Lord Jesus, 1923:

“Beloved daughter, I want to introduce you to the order of my Providence: in each course of two thousand years I have renewed the world. 2. The great Apostasy

Apparitions at the ‘Tre Fontane’ (Rome), to Bruno Cornacchiola, 12/4/1947:

The Madonna shows Bruno “on the ground a black cloth, a priest’s cassock and above it a cross broken in several places. This is the sign that the Church will suffer, will be persecuted, broken; this is the sign that my children will undress (their sacred clothes)… “.

“Then Our Lady talks to me about what is happening in the world, about what will happen in the future, how the Church is going, how the faith is going and that men will no longer believe.”

Don Stefano Gobbi, (messages from the Blessed Mother):

June 11, 1988 – “The times of general confusion and the greatest disturbance of the spirits have come. Confusion has entered the souls and lives of many of my children. This great apostasy is spreading more and more also within the Catholic Church. Apparitions of Anguera (messages from Our Lady):

March 3, 1998 – “There will be a terrible crisis of faith. A great apostasy will shake the Church and the antichrist will spread his errors and false teachings throughout the world. “

April 9, 1998 (Holy Thursday) – “The great plan of the devil is to put an end to the Eucharist and destroy the true meaning of consecrated life. Accepting a false doctrine, many will say that Jesus is present in the Eucharist only symbolically: in this way the devil will lead a large number of consecrated and faithful into error. 04-10-2005 – “Humanity will drink the bitter chalice of war. The antichrist will come and the nations will be at war. It will be the greatest suffering for men.”

2006-01-14 – “The antichrist will act with great fury to destroy the Church of my Jesus. His greatest attack will cause spiritual damage like never seen since the time of Adam. O children, I suffer for what awaits you. I am your Mother and I will be close to you. “

07/26/2005 – “He who opposes Christ will manifest himself and lead a large number of my poor children to error. Be careful. He is a false messiah. He will also be able to seduce many consecrated persons. “

04/20/2007 “Dear children, he who will be welcomed as the enlightened one will be, in truth, the terror of the nations. His plan will be only one, but what he will carry out will have serious consequences for my poor children.”

04-23-2007 – “Dear children, pray. The devil’s action will lead many to deny the Faith. A terrible plan will be put into practice with the aim of destroying the Church of my Jesus. “

3. Enlightenment of consciences

Confirmation miracle. Beginning of the chastisements, for those who refuse these signs of God. Up to the “great chastisement”.

In Garabandal in 1961, Our Lady prophesied to the children visionaries, that in preparation for the Parousia of Jesus, there will be a sign of Warning, with the illumination of consciences, in which everyone will see his whole life, as an anticipation of the final judgment of God. , and a few months later another spiritual and visible sign will be given with the miracle, left on the place of the apparitions to prove their truthfulness.

Testimony of the visionary Conchita Gonzales (September 14, 1965):

“The Warning is something that comes directly from God. It will be visible to the whole world, no matter where you are. It will be like the interior revelation to each of us of our sins. Believers as well as non-believers and people of any religion will see and hear it”.

22-10-1965 – “Oh, yes, the Warning is very fearful … It will be like fire: it will not burn our flesh, but we will feel it physically and internally. All nations and all people will feel it the same way. Nobody will escape it and the non-believers, even they, will experience the fear of God ”.

October 1968 – “It is not a natural phenomenon; it is something supernatural that science cannot explain. It will be a purification / correction of the consciousness of the world. Even those who do not know Christ will believe it is a Warning from God”.

“The Warning will pass and will be seen everywhere, everyone will feel it as a punishment, noting all that his sins have caused. He is sent to us for our purification, and as long as we don’t despair, I think he will do us a lot of good”.

“I believe that, at that moment (of the Warning), the best thing would be to be able to be in the church, near the Blessed Sacrament; Jesus would help us endure it. It will be as horrible as ever. I could never describe it as the Most Holy Virgin described it to me! We do not imagine to what extent we offend the Lord!”

Medjugorje, 1981 – Our Lady communicating the 10 secrets to the visionaries, confirmed that at the beginning there will be three Warnings, of which the third will be a spiritual and visible sign left on the hill of the apparitions to prove their truthfulness, and then if still there will be no conversion, chastisements will follow.

Don Stefano Gobbi (messages of the Madonna) -24 December 1993:

“Do not let yourselves be taken by vain and useless worries but watch with Me in prayer and in waiting for His near return.”

May 22, 1988 – “Every man will see himself in the burning Fire of Divine Truth. It will be like a small judgment”.

October 2, 1992- “It will be like a small judgment and each one will see his own life and all his works in the very Light of God”.

4. The Katechon is removed

The obstacle to the manifestation of the wicked, anti-Christ. This physiognomy of the katechon or obstacle is attributed to the Pope mentioned in the third secret of Fatima.

Sister Lucy, 7/13/1917- “… the Holy Father, before arriving there, crossed a large city half in ruins and half trembling with a vacillating step, afflicted with pain and grief, praying for the souls of the corpses he met in his path; arrived at the top of the mountain, kneeling at the foot of the great Cross, he was killed by a group of soldiers who shot him various shots and arrows, and in the same way the Bishops, Priests, religious died one after the other and religious and various secular people, men and women of various classes and positions.”

Today we say that it is attributed as a prophecy to Pope Benedict XVI, who will remain the last bastion in the defense of the Truth, who will shed his blood and become a martyr.

5. Arrival of the Anti-Christ, the chastisements and the great tribulation

Maria Valtorta, from Our Lord Jesus, 27 August 1943:

“Now we are in the period that I call the period of the forerunners of the Anti-Christ. Then will come that of the Anti-Christ, who is the forerunner of Satan. He will be helped by the manifestations of Satan, the two beasts named in the Apocalypse. This period will be worse than the present period. The evil will increase more and more.”

Luz de Maria, 2021, (message from Jesus):
