Saint Dymphna is a special saint known for her intercession in times of mental and emotional challenges. She faced difficult circumstances but remained steadfast in her faith. Today, many people turn to Saint Dymphna in times of anxiety, depression, and mental distress, seeking her prayers for strength and comfort. She is the patron saint not only of people with mental and neurological disorders, but also of their places of care and dedicated medical professions (such as psychiatrists), as well as of princesses, victims of incest and rape, for the loss of parents and for happiness in the family.
Saint Dymphna was born in 7th century, in Ireland. Died on 30 May, 7th century in Geel, Belgium. She is venerated in the Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church. Canonized in the year 620. His feast day is celebrated on May 30 (formerly May 15).
