(Earth.com) “Magnetic North Pole is moving and changing faster than ever, surprising scientists. The magnetic North Pole, a vital navigational anchor for our planet, is far from stationary. Most of us remain blissfully unaware that it shifts constantly under the influence of dynamic forces beneath the Earth’s crust. However, recent movements have been more extreme than usual, making people take notice. Once steady, this silent sentinel has recently been speeding erratically toward Russia at an unprecedented pace. Such rapid shifts could have dramatic consequences, disrupting modern navigation systems and, by extension, the way we navigate our daily lives. Unlike the geographic North Pole, which is fixed in the Arctic, the magnetic north pole is constantly on the move, drifting several kilometers each year due to changes in Earth’s molten core.

The northern odyssey: From Canada to Siberia. Ever since we started tracking it, the magnetic North Pole has been on the move. However, its recent behavior is quite out of the ordinary. Once comfortably located in northern Canada, the pole kicked into high gear in the late 20th century, making its way across the Arctic Ocean by the 1990s. From there, the pace has increased progressively , peaking at an astonishing 55 kilometers per year during the 2010s. Presently, it’s hurtling at a slightly reduced but still impressive speed of 25 kilometers per year towards Siberia.

What’s steering the magnetic North Pole? Intellectually stimulating debates have arisen among scientists trying to decipher the underlying cause of this unusual phenomenon. Dr. William Brown, a renowned geomagnetic field analyst, identifies three possible culprits behind the magnetic North Pole’s unusual behavior.

1. First, changes in the flow of molten iron beneath the Earth’s crust could be altering the magnetic field’s strength and direction, as the planet’s outer core dynamics play a crucial role in generating the field in the first place.
2. Second, high-energy solar particles interacting with the Earth’s magnetosphere, such as during solar storms and winds, might be causing fluctuations in the magnetic field.
3. Finally, the phenomenon may be linked to the Earth’s history of magnetic pole reversals, which have occurred nearly 200 times over the past 100 million years. The most recent of these reversals occurred approximately 800,000 years ago.

The shifting pole also raises questions over the possibility of a full magnetic reversal – a natural process in which the North and South magnetic poles swap places. While such reversals have happened thousands of times in the Earth’s history, their effects cannot be predicted. A reversal could temporarily weaken Earth’s magnetic field, meaning that the planet would be exposed to more intense and damaging cosmic radiation, which would affect living organisms, ecosystems and infrastructure.”

The “Three Gorges Dam”, a marvel of human engineering built along the Blue River in China, has achieved the unthinkable: it has shifted the axis of our planet. This news is not reported in the media because it apparently does not cause any immediate concern.

As Benjamin Fong Chao, a NASA researcher, explains: “The redistribution of mass (on a large scale) within the Earth’s system has an effect on the Earth’s rotation. It has been found that the Three Gorges Dam in China slightly slows down the Earth’s rotation by about 0.06 microseconds per day due to the redistribution of mass in its huge reservoir, and this enormous construction in China is slowing down the Earth. The redistribution of mass within the Earth’s system has an effect on the Earth’s rotation. Although the delay of 0.06 microseconds per day may seem negligible, it is a measurable consequence of this redistribution. The effect follows the principle that the shift of mass towards the poles accelerates the Earth’s rotation, while the shift towards the equator slows it down.” (India Times – January 7, 2025)

3. Cardinal Ratzinger: The flaming sword

It is no coincidence that Cardinal Ratzinger, the future Pope Benedict XVI, commented on the vision of the “Angel with the flaming sword” in Fatima:

«Man himself, with his inventions, has forged the flaming sword».

4. Lucia of Fatima: The spear, like a flame

In 1917, Sister Lucia saw an angel with a flaming sword (mentioned by Cardinal Ratzinger before he became pope) in his left hand. The sword emitted flames that seemed about to set the whole world on fire. However, the flames were extinguished upon contact with the splendor that the Virgin Mary radiated from her right hand. The Angel, crying out in a powerful voice, repeated three times:

«Penance! Penance! Penance!»

In her memoirs, Sister Lucia describes:

«The tip of the spear, like a flame, breaks off and touches the Earth’s axis. The Earth trembles, entire mountains are buried, cities and villages disappear, while seas and rivers overflow their banks, sweeping away countless houses and people».

It can be deduced that what the crowd saw in Fatima during the “miracle of the Sun” was not that the sun was moving, which is physically impossible, but a vision as a “preview” of what will happen when the Earth’s axis undergoes a complete reversal, also due to the passage of a celestial body in the solar system.

5. Luz de Maria: The flipping of the Earth

The visionary Luz de Maria [1], in a recent interview, provided details of the event:

«The flipping of the Earth, the reversal of the poles, will occur during the three days of darkness. Because if we experience an earthquake lasting many hours, the poles will reverse. We know that very strong earthquakes cause the Earth’s axis to shift, but even stronger earthquakes will cause the axis to reverse completely».

Renzo Baschera [2] discusses the topic in his book “The Great Prophets”.

Jesus to Padre Pio: «The hour of punishment is near, but I will show My Mercy. Your era will witness a terrible punishment. My Angels will take spiritual care to destroy all those who mock Me and who do not believe in My prophecies. Hurricanes of fire will be hurled from the clouds and will spread across the Earth. Storms, thunder, and uninterrupted rain, earthquakes will cover the Earth for three days. This will be followed by uninterrupted rain of fire, to demonstrate that God is Lord of creation. […] The ground will shake and there will be great panic… The earth is sick. The earthquake will be like a snake: you will feel it slithering everywhere. And many stones will fall. And many men will perish. […] A land will disappear… a great land. A country will be erased forever from the maps… And with it, history, wealth, and men will be dragged into the mud. […] A meteor will fall on the earth and everything will shake. It will be a disaster, much worse than a war. Many things will be erased. And this will be one of the signs… […] On the third night, the earthquakes and fire will cease, and the next day the sun will shine again. Angels will descend from heaven and bring the spirit of peace to the Earth. A third of humanity will perish…»

This is the summary of the Final Punishment: a 72-hour earthquake that will shake the Earth as never before in human history, causing the definitive shift of the Earth’s axis. In our time, we must not underestimate that the shift in the Earth’s axis may already have immediate consequences. Heavenly messages warn us that the effects are already underway and will intensify in the near future.

The Blessed Virgin of Anguera, Brazil, in a message dated April 24, 2010, to the seer Pedro Regis [3], warned:

«Dear children, do not stray from prayer. Humanity is on the eve of the most painful events. I am your Sorrowful Mother, and I suffer for what awaits you. The ground will shake, and immense rivers of fire will come from the depths. Sleeping giants will rise, and the suffering will be great for many nations. The Earth’s axis will shift, and My poor children will experience moments of great tribulation. Be careful. The time of sorrow for humanity is coming. Return to Jesus. Only in Him will you find the strength to bear the weight of the trials that are coming. Take courage. I will intercede with My Jesus for you».

These are precise warnings about the effect that the shift in the Earth’s axis will have on the tectonic plates. When the axis shifts, the enormous plates that make up the Earth’s crust move like pieces in a puzzle. As they move, the earth trembles, volcanoes awaken, and the oceans change their boundaries.

Let us give an example: The 2004 Indonesian earthquake [*], which shifted the Earth’s axis by 80 centimeters (31.5 inches), triggered a huge tsunami, but it was minimal compared to what will happen when the Earth’s axis shifts more.

[*] Detailed Description: On December 26th, 2004, a massive 9.1 magnitude earthquake struck off the west coast of northern Sumatra, Indonesia. The third largest earthquake ever recorded lifted the sea floor several meters, causing tsunami waves to ripple out in all directions and race across the ocean. Banda Aceh bore the brunt of the waves just 15 to 20 minutes after the earthquake. Waves in some locations along the Sumatra coast were reported to be 30 meters high. (USGS.gov)

In a message dated May 5, 2025, John Martinez [4], USA, warns:

«An imminent natural disaster is on the horizon for the [Eagle Land] and other nations. A shifting of the tectonic plates will take place in the near future. It will affect all countries worldwide. Earthquakes, brutal unnatural floods, famine and terrorism have already begun in areas not seen before. The center of the [Eagle Land] will suffer a major disaster and both the West Coast, East Coast including all Costal areas will be affected. Mankind will suffer much. This will be caused by the evil wickedness and sinfulness of many inhabitants. This chastisement is a precursor of the tribulation to come».

The shift in the Earth’s axis, also caused by human activity, such as the Three Gorges Dam, may trigger an inevitable chain of events that will affect various continents, including North America, with few areas spared.

9. Valentina Papagna: Events in the oceans

On March 7, 2006, Valentina Papagna, the Australian visionary [5], wrote:

«In this vision while praying. I once again saw a map of the world… An angel appeared and said: ‘Tell people to amend and change because God will soon turn upside down the sea, and punish humanity for not obeying His Holy Law”».

On October 13, 2018, Valentina was shown the deepest part of the world, in the deepest sea.

«I approached and a large glass screen appeared in front of me, through which I could see the bottom of the sea. It was so real. The vision was crystal clear… [I could see] every detail of the seabed. I could see how the motion of the water stirred up the sediments on the seabed to create a cloud of underwater dust. As the dust cloud settled, I could clearly see what looked like a round concrete “plug” (plug = material that blocks a passage) less than half a meter in diameter on the bottom of the sea. The more I looked, the more I saw that there were many of these round slabs on the bottom of the sea.

The angel said: “You see, these blocks we are showing you are very old. They have been here since the beginning of Creation. There are many of them all over the world. Soon we will have permission to remove them, because God will give us the command to do so. When we open them, the world will experience many volcanic eruptions, fires, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Soon there will be great suffering in the world if people do not repent and convert”».

This material is like “blocks of rock” covering the mouths of underwater volcanoes. Valentina’s vision was confirmed in December 2021. During this period, an eruption began on Hunga Tonga-Hunga Haʻapai, an underwater volcano in the Tongan archipelago in the South Pacific Ocean. The eruption reached a very large and powerful peak almost four weeks later, on January 15, 2022. Hunga Tonga-Hunga Haʻapai is located 65 kilometers north of Tongatapu, the country’s main island, and is part of the highly active volcanic arc of the Tonga-Kermadec Islands, a subduction zone stretching from New Zealand to Fiji.

10. Conclusion

The signs are everywhere before our eyes. Earthquakes are multiplying, volcanoes are awakening after centuries of slumber, the climate seems to be increasingly unstable, while humanity continues to live as if nothing were happening, just as in the days of Noah. It can be concluded that when science seems to confirm what has already been anticipated in the visions of mystics, it means that we have entered the time of Tribulation. Jesus made this clear with these words:

«Learn this lesson from the fig tree: when its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near» (Mark 13:28).

Let us remain in grace in view of what awaits us: Therefore, it is essential to:

• a) Pray with the heart, not mechanically or hastily.
• b) Recite the Holy Rosary every day.
• c) Go to confession (when possible) monthly.
• d) Receive the Eucharist with the proper dispositions.
• e) Obey the Ten Commandments.
• f) Fasting (especially bread and water, which keeps demons away from souls, loved ones, and homes).
• g) Reading the Bible.
