[...] Let's trust in the word of Christ, and let's ask the Holy Spirit for discernment so as not to make wrong decisions" –Luz de Maria.For years, Massimo Coppo, the hermit of Assisi, has been esteemed by many as a special and prophetic soul.
Several witnesses speak of healings that occurred after his prayer; of people who came with doubts and were converted. But he never wanted publicity, he only spoke privately to those who sought him sincerely until the Ascension of the Lord in 2025.
And on that day he broke his silence in St. Peter’s Square and said things that were prophetic. He warned about what is going to happen in the Church and the world and how we must prepare ourselves, and the hearts of many trembled because they recognized the voice from Heaven about what is coming.
Massimo Coppo is neither a priest nor a writer, he is a hermit monk, living on the hill of Assisi. Like St. Francis he left everything to live in solitude, penance and silence. He is part of the community family of Bethlehem created in the town of Assisi more than 40 years ago.
He became famous when he appeared to pray for the Pope in St. Peter’s Square in 2013 when the previous conclave was on, barefoot and with a mendicant appearance.
At the 2025 conclave, he appeared again and said he walked from Assisi to pray for the new pope.
«I want a new pontiff for the poor and who will be close to them, who will speak of eternity, of hell and of the return of Christ».
And to that he added:
«I am walking here to do penance for the church, to pray since this morning, for God to have mercy on His Church, which is in a very difficult situation, which is a scandal unfortunately».
And a few days later he unexpectedly appeared on the feast of the Ascension of 2025 and gave a message loaded with fire:
«Christ will return it will not be secret, it will be visible, the Church must go through Her Passion, there is no escape, there is no middle ground, it will be a great separation and it will be a great surprise».
And he also sentenced:
«The Church no longer speaks of the Judgment as if it will never happen».
And then he gave a message about the future that is summarized in four warnings:
- The clergy will be a cause of scandal.
- The Church will be sustained by the faithful laity.
- God will send a visible and simultaneous Warning.
- Purification will come before the Kingdom.
These are not new warnings, only now they are repeated by someone who had not spoken of this, and it was taken up by the international press, although the Catholic clergy continue to ignore it.
And these same four warnings were delivered a century and a half ago to a French mystic (Marie Julie Jahenny) in an apparition of one of the most powerful saints the Church has ever had.
We are talking about St. Vincent Ferrer, Dominican, preacher of the 14th century, who evangelized in France, Italy, Spain, England; and he preached with such power that crowds of people followed him for weeks.
He spoke in his native tongue, but everyone understood him in their language, and God gave him exceptional charismas: healings, massive conversions, and according to historical sources, he resurrected 28 people.
One of those resurrections was key. When some mocked him, because he (St. Vincent Ferrer) said that God had called him the Fourth Angel of the Apocalypse, he asked them to bring a corpse that had been dead for 4 days; and when he resurrected it, the first thing that man said was:
«This is the Angel of the Apocalypse».
Then in 1878 St. Vincent Ferrer appeared to Maria Julie Jahenny and gave her a message that sounds like an exact copy of the hermit of Assisi.
1. The clergy will be a cause of scandal.
In his message to Marie Julie Jahenny St. Vincent said:
«The faith of the pastors is no longer pure, their charity is contaminated. The clergy will become a cause of scandal. If they do not convert, if they do not adjust their life to the true faith, God will make them instruments of scandal».
And the hermit of Assisi said something similar in other words:
«Many within the Church no longer believe; the Cross has been replaced by consensus; and those who should announce the Judgment have silenced it».
Both point to the same problem. Evil does not enter from without but from within; and that evil has already manifested itself.
2. the Church will be sustained by the faithful laity.
St. Vincent said in that apparition to Marie Julie Jahenny:
«God is a thousand times more consoled in the faithful of the world, than many of his ministers, who neither love him nor obey him».
St. Vincent made it clear that he was speaking of the laity who live in grace, in silence, and in fidelity. And the hermit also said:
«God does not measure by hierarchy, the faithful will be taken, the lukewarm will remain. The support of the Church is not in the visible, it is in the hidden souls who pray, who suffer, who are silent, and who are supporting the building from the inside, while on the outside it is crumbling».
3. God will send a visible Warning
This is perhaps the most explicit warning. Both St. Vincent and the hermit speak of a global and simultaneous visible Divine intervention. St. Vincent said:
«God will send a serious warning will be seen everywhere at the same time will be the scandal turned into punishment and the punishment into an act of mercy».
And the hermit without naming him also described the Warning that so many mystics have announced:
«Christ will return and it will be a great surprise. It will be like thunder. No one will be able to ignore it. It will be the moment of the great separation».
He was speaking of what Our Lady said at Garabandal. A tremor that will illuminate the conscience of the world. An anticipated personal judgment. And that call of God will definitely separate those who follow Him and those who persecute Him.
4. The Purification will come before the Kingdom.
The most difficult part of the four messages is that the Kingdom is coming, but only after the Cross. St. Vincent warned:
«God will allow a time of terrible toil, but it will be brief then His adorable Voice will pronounce the end and give to those who have suffered peace and joy».
And the hermit said it more directly.
«The Church must live His Passover, like her Lord. There is no escape, no middle ground.
It means that the promise of the Kingdom, a time of peace, justice and Divine Presence, will not come without first passing through a time of tribulation. Which means that the promised Era of Peace will come after a Great Tribulation that will officiate as purification. And today we are entering the Golgotha of the Church. And as in the Cross of Christ, few will remain close, only the most faithful».
This message is not new, nor exclusive to these two men. Heaven has been repeating it for centuries with all its nuances:
- At La Salette, Rome will lose faith.
- In Fatima, Russia is the instrument of chastisement.
- In Garabandal, an Illumination of Conscience will come before the Chastisement.
- At Akita, fire will fall from heaven and after the fire the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Heaven has been speaking permanently about this, and not to sow fear, but to awaken the dormant consciousness. And today the Hermit of Assisi came to tell us again that the Church is going through her Passion, and that the world is going through its judgment, and the faithful must make a decision: to go on as if nothing is happening or to respond to the call.
The hermit said:
«The faithful will be taken, the lukewarm will be left, and all will be like lightning in heaven. The faithful will be enlightened by the presence of God and the lukewarm will deny him. This whole process will be very rapid in the midst of a world and a Church that are crumbling to be reborn».
Well, now is not the time to wait for signs because the sign has already been given. And so now the most difficult thing remains for men: to believe and to act.

"I place myself in the presence of the Most Holy Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) and by the power of the Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, I break, undo, trample, annihilate, render ineffective, and erase from my physical, psychic, biological, and spiritual being every curse that has been placed on me, on my family and family tree, on any person, family member, or ancestor through acts of occultism or spiritism. By the power of the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ and through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael, I break and render ineffective every curse, whatever its nature, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen (Repeat the prayer 3 times)" 
"O glorious St. Joseph! by your profound humility, by your unalterable meekness, by your invincible patience, by your angelic purity and perfect fidelity that made you a timely imitator of the virtues of Jesus and Mary, I ask you to console me in all my sorrows, to guide me in all my doubts, to defend me in all temptations, to deliver me from all spiritual and material dangers; to extend your arm against all my visible and invisible enemies, breaking and destroying all the snares and barriers that they tend and arm against me. Amen." 
"Oh, blessed Saint Michael, protect us from the attacks and snares of the evil spirits because you know full well that we are poor mortals, fragile and weak, in need of the Mercy of God and of your protection to fulfill the mission that Heaven has commissioned to us. Oh, Saint Michael, may your victorious cry: “who is like God? no one is like God”, suppress and cast into Hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the destruction of souls. Amen"
Come, Holy Spirit, send to us from Heaven a ray of your light. Come, Father of the poor, come, giver of gifts, come, light of hearts. Perfect comforter, sweet guest of the soul, sweetest relief. In toil, rest, in heat, shelter, in weeping comfort. O most blessed light, invade into the depths the hearts of your faithful. Without your strength nothing is in man, nothing is without fault. Wash what is sordid, bathe what is parched, heal what bleeds. Bend that which is stiff, warm that which is icy, straighten that which is astray. Give to your faithful who trust in you alone your Holy Gifts. Give virtue and reward, give holy death, give eternal joy. Amen.
"O Hearts of Jesus and Mary; I consecrate myself, I consecrate my family and the whole world, to your Most Beloved Hearts. Listen to the supplication which I making to you and accept our hearts in Yours, to be delivered and protected we, the whole world, from all evil and all sin. May the protection of your Two Hearts be refuge, strength, and protection, in the daily spiritual struggles.
