(A time of persecution approaches…)

A time of persecution approaches

“My Soul is sorrowful unto death, I said in the Garden of Olives before My Agony.

  • And today, I say it again: My Soul is sad to the point of death.

My Soul, in the Garden of Olives, saw the Passion and My terrible death on the Cross. It was frightened, not only of what was coming and what I was going to have to endure, but of all the catastrophes that were being prepared over the centuries and over the lives of each of My children. And especially your time, My dearest children.

  • You are about to experience a passion, but have I not said to you:

‘The servant is not greater than his master; if they persecuted Me, they will persecute you too’ (Jn 15:20).

The hour is coming, and soon, when you, like Peter, the chief apostle, will be ‘led where you will not’ (Jn 21:18).

  • Yes, My dear children, know that a time of persecution is approaching, and you will be surprised by how quickly it spreads. You know this because you hear that, here and there in France and Europe, innocent people are being stabbed and surprised by unpredictable attacks.
  • France is gangrenous, with thugs scattered all over its territory. All it will take is one spark, understood by them as the moment to rise up, to strike and spread terror wherever they are in force and already ready.

The Passion of Jesus Christ began when He was arrested and subjected to many tribulations: beaten, mocked, scorned, torn. Then He was scourged and crowned with thorns, sat on a sharp stone as a throne, lacerated with blows of rope, loaded with His Cross which He had to carry while all others would have remained on the ground, and, at the end of all this hard-to-imagine treatment, He was crucified and died as if suffocated.

Jesus Christ remained master of Himself at every moment of these awful mutilations, accepting every wound and every insult as penance for every sin of humanity that He saw unfold before His eyes. He accepted them all, and offered His faithful to follow Him on the way of the cross.

Yes, My dear children, you too will have your Way of the Cross, and I will help you to follow it with faith, courage and endurance. You are My servants, and your way of the cross will not be as hard as Mine. The martyrs before the lions and bulls suffered, but grace helped them to offer their lives in union with Mine. My grace will help you to suffer what you will have to suffer, and be glad of the great grace you will be given to follow Me until My victorious entry into Heaven.

You will join the martyrs of all time and launder your robes in the blood of the Lamb (Rev. 7:14), and Revelation continues:

‘Therefore, they stand before the throne of God, serving Him day and night in His temple. (…) Never again will they suffer hunger or thirst; never again will they be burdened by the sun or by any scorching wind. The Lamb who stands in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd and will lead them to the springs of the waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes’ (Rev. 7:14-17).

God’s goodness keeps for Himself the future of each of His children; your life is known to you in its past, but God keeps for Himself the knowledge of its future. So live, each and every one of you, to serve God in your daily lives, to love Him perfectly, to worship Him and thank Him for all He gives you, the knowledge of His Name, your possessions and your families.

Like Jesus Christ, pray to observe God’s will in all your actions, offer yourselves to Him, and if He has appointed you to join Him quickly in His Heaven, don’t hesitate. Do not be afraid, pray and I will give you the grace of firmness, the grace of gentleness.

  • Don’t look for danger, avoid it, but if it catches you, think of Jesus Christ, His Calvary and His gentleness.

I will always be near you, with you and in you; in My presence you will fear nothing. I love you, I warn you and I care for each one of you. Love Me in return with all the love of which you are capable. Amen, Alleluia.
