The Lord: «It is time to enter into silence and keep silent, but men do not see what is coming and the Beast will enter your dwellings, if you are not careful, because you are playing with fire, the fire of the world instead of taking the road of the Divine Fire that I am, which brings you true Nourishment (the Eucharist), true Life (to be in state of Grace).
[…] I tell you now that it is time, My children, to hide from the world, to distance yourselves from it, so as not to be tempted or caught up in it and so as not to go adrift.
There are so many roads to perdition! Beware, children, of these times that are coming and are here, for man is at stake and man does not see it. Many of you are walking blindly, while I ask you to watch and pray in silence and to keep away from the world.
[…] Do not dissipate yourself, nor disperse yourself in a thousand things to accomplish. Seek silence, not only on the outside, but on the inside, for the devil is cunning and subtle, and he knows your weaknesses.
Do not let yourselves be distracted but, in silence, come and seek My company, come and hand over your lives to Me, and I will bring you the incense that will guide your steps towards the Light, so that you do not go astray or lose your way. The tricks and traps are more and more subtle, they always have been, but now they are even more so.

The Evil One is more intelligent than you, he, the most beautiful angel, fallen, who wanted to be My equal and above Me! And you, My children, are not angels but men, and you are so easily trapped!
Do not forget, children, that the Devil is more cunning than you, and he knows that the time for battle, the great battle, the time for the end, is here; so he does everything in his power to lull you to sleep without you noticing. So many traps on your roads, so many baits, so many stones, so many ravines! If you do not enter into silence, you will lose the path.
Do not fall into the traps of the world, and remain vigilant in prayer.
Accept aridity [1] as a path to conversion, for aridity leads to the right path. Aridity strengthens man, even if it seems to annihilate him. Look deeply, beyond the veil of appearances. Stay in silence close to My Heart and come listen to My Word for each of you, you will hear Me guide you, you will understand the traps on your paths. Only in silence does man find the path.
The silence of Carmel carries the way to Heaven [2], resonating with the voice of the Holy Master. Prayer is not a repetition but a discourse of love that lifts the soul into My Heaven of Glory. In aridity, children, strength will be given to you. The path is strewn with pitfalls [3] to invigorate and strengthen the soul.
The way of the world is perdition. What can it carry you but forgetfulness of true Life in Me, your Saviour?

- The aridity of which the Lord speaks is the person’s effort in renouncing the world and its deceptions to make room for a spiritual life of prayer, austerity and detachment. The person seems to be dragging himself as if “listless” in this new life of his toward Truth and salvation. The soul experiences some suffering from the “loneliness” in which it must live temporarily during the transition “to the new man”: the son/daughter of God and heir to His eternal Kingdom. The person is in a process of spiritual healing and feels that it is a vital necessity to isolate oneself from the world, from unhealthy friendships, from the life of vices and sins, in order to embrace the “loneliness” that is the Lord’s instrument to protect His children from the snares of the devil, sin and devil-men. In other words, “aridity” (lack of enthusiasm or very minimal will, for example toward prayer…, like a sense of inner “loneliness”), due to that sense of awareness of the dangers of proximity to evil; that sense of ‘spiritual listlessness’ in praying, in fulfilling one’s Christian duties, in being faithful to the Lord’s Commandments, (“aridity”) is our best friend to guide and direct us in our journey to salvation. Hence, one should not escape “aridity” nor regard it as a calamity, begging for human consolations, but, on the contrary, embrace and accept it, helping oneself with more intense prayer (the Rosary Diary is most effective), so that the Lord can ease its burden: « Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, Who am meek and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your lives».
- The Silence of Carmel (Carmel in Hebrew means ‘garden of God’), pledge of victory: «You who know him who is sinning at this instant, strike me for him, and so hard that he may repent» (a Carmelite nun). In these days of turmoil and desolation, our souls cannot help but be clouded and suffocated by media livor and offshoots of indirect hatred toward the Church and the Catholic Faith, […] lost as we are in the din of the secular world and the tragic nature of events. The Carmel and his children, sustained by the love of Mary Most Holy, continue their silent spiritual battle. Their existence is for us a pledge and security of victory in this infamous age, since God will never reject the prayers of those who have deeply understood that among His greatest consolations is to see His Holy Mother loved, honored and served as His Son did on this Earth. Carmelites are defined as members of the Catholic mendicant religious order known as the Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, which was founded towards the end of the 12th century, during the period of the Crusades, by a group of hermits who, inspired by the life of the prophet Elijah, retired to live on Mount Carmel, located on a mountain range in Israel on the Mediterranean Sea.
- Since evil is present in the world (because of original sin), oppressing and destroying those who do not resist it, who come to terms with it or in its service, it becomes an instrument of the Lord’s Wisdom for souls of good will, because it keeps them constantly vigilant and at a distance. The struggle against evil, with the help of Grace: Sacraments, prayer, obedience to the Commandments, gains souls of good will, merits and eternal salvation.

Come, Holy Spirit, send to us from Heaven a ray of your light. Come, Father of the poor, come, giver of gifts, come, light of hearts. Perfect comforter, sweet guest of the soul, sweetest relief. In toil, rest, in heat, shelter, in weeping comfort. O most blessed light, invade into the depths the hearts of your faithful. Without your strength nothing is in man, nothing is without fault. Wash what is sordid, bathe what is parched, heal what bleeds. Bend that which is stiff, warm that which is icy, straighten that which is astray.
