(The Immaculate Conception…)
“My dear ones, My little ones, yes, you are very little in My eyes because, for any Father, His children who have not yet reached maturity, are very little.
- How many of you have the spiritual maturity to enter My divine Abode right now?
- You’re all still a long way off, I’m not afraid to say, for who among you is perfectly holy?
My Mother Mary, whom I have given you as Mother, was perfectly holy on earth, and at every moment She was already ready for Heaven. She entered it at Her Assumption, and the whole of Heaven welcomed Her in the most sincere exultation.
Queen of Heaven and earth She most certainly is, for Her holiness surpasses even that of the Angels. You have in Her an exceptional example: She never thought of Herself, She was entirely given over to God Her Father, Her Creator, and this immaculate availability earned Her the distinguished yet painful honor of being the Mother of the Son of God, the Mother of the Redeemer, the Mother of a tortured Son and the Mother of one condemned to an ignominious death.
She knew it all: the sweetness of knowing God intimately, but also the harshness of the consequences of sin. In spite of this, She always remained kind, gentle, loving and eager to think only of others.
At no time, not even in the storm of the Passion of Her tender and beloved Son, did She turn in on Herself. She wept, yes, She wept a lot, but Her tears were not selfish, they were compassionate and full of tenderness and love.
My dear ones, My little ones, be the good children of such a good Mother. She too needs your tenderness, for all love blossoms in reciprocity, and all love that is not returned becomes suffering.
See My Mother again at La Salette, weeping over the sins of the world, and the two little children, Mélanie and Maximin, were appalled; a great lady, dazzling, so respectable and so beautiful, wept and Her tears were sincere.
Yes, on earth, Ma Mother was a martyr in Her heart and soul, but Her goodness was such that those around Her had no idea.
My Mother saw all the imperfections of those around Her, the unconscious or more obvious sins, but She never turned away from them, no, She reached out Her hand or, like a true Mother, She took it upon Herself not to let show Her grief at having offended God.
At the hour of My Passion and Death on the Cross, She was nearly fifty years old, and She lived for another ten years, the time necessary for the apostles to gather from Her all that She could give them: Her memories and Her examples.
She was their Mother in a very special way, and they learned from Her all that a mother can give to her grown-up children. Then the call of Heaven was heard in Her soul, and She breathed the last of Her immaculate life on earth.
- I want you, My children, to pay a most heartfelt tribute to My Mother, who is your Mother, on the coming feast of her Immaculate Conception, on December 8th. She awaits you, and those who will have the joy of participating in a procession in Her honor, may they not miss it!

Pope Pius IX
This feast was officially proclaimed on December 8, 1854 by Blessed Pope Pius IX (1), a great pope if ever there was one, and ever since, this dogma has been the joy of the whole city of Heaven.
Mary, My Most Holy Mother and your Mother, is proclaimed untainted by any stain, untainted by any imperfection, untainted by any deficiency, just as the Most Holy Mother of God was worthy to be.
- My little children, come to the maternal homage that the whole of Catholicity should pay to Her, and I, God, will accompany you, for in the whole of Heaven, the joy and homage that will be paid to Her will be unanimous.
- For some, this may be the last time such a public tribute will be paid to Her… you know that states are becoming less and less Christian, and every apostate nation will be severely punished.
I bless you, My dear little ones, and make the sign of the cross as I give you My blessing: in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen, Amen.
Your loving Father and God.”
- Pope Pius IX on 8 December 1854 issued the Apostolic constitution Ineffabilis Deus: “The most Blessed Virgin Mary, in the first instant of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege granted by almighty God, in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the human race, was preserved free from all stain of original sin.”
