A crucifix falls on a priest’s head. An omen? A warning from Heaven to the Catholic Church and the modernists?

SMALL REMNANT, let us remain faithful to the Catholic Church during these times of rampant apostasy and let us not abandon the Ship of Peter even if everything were to get worse; there are still many good and holy priests, but they are proceeding with their hands and feet bound because of the modernist hierarchies

“Nothing happens in the world without God’s will or permission. This applies to absolutely everything, except for sin…” [1]

A question naturally comes to mind: If God permits “Eucharistic signs” such as the one that occurred to Father Brent Bowman [2] during the Mass for the “Exaltation of the Cross” on September 14, 2026 —undoubtedly, certainly to strengthen the faith of the Church and of the faithful in His Real Presence— then why did that same God allow a cross to fall on one of His ministers: Father Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari in Ecuador during Mass?

Padre Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari was killed when a large wooden crucifix fell on him during a livestreamed Mass in the church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Guayaquil, Ecuador, on October 17, 2026. The incident occurred while Father Sánchez Molinari, was delivering a sermon about the fragility of life when the crucifix detached from the wall behind him. The heavy crucifix struck him on the head, knocking him to the ground. Emergency services were called immediately, but Father Sánchez Molinari was pronounced dead shortly after the incident.

Some considerations for the discernment of the Small Remnant:

  • Perhaps a warning to those who oppose and want to abolish the Tridentine Mass?
The Tridentine Mass, “Ad Orientem” [3], would certainly have saved the life of this priest who was celebrating Mass with his back turned to the Tabernacle…

  • Why did a crucifix fall on a priest?
Perhaps… to remind the entire Catholic Church that the Holy Mass is a bloodless Sacrifice that reenacts the one offered 2,000 years ago on Golgotha—and not “the remembrance or commemoration of a supper” or a party with kisses, hugs, applause, dancing, musical performances, birthday celebrations, and other unspeakable desecrations in places of worship.
  • Could this be a warning?
It could be a warning to prevent an impending implosion or collapse of the Catholic Church upon the heads of its hierarchy, caused by the weight of modernist synodality and pastoral changes; forced ecumenism; and the inclusion and blessing of unions contrary to the Sacrament of Matrimony…
  • Perhaps this is an urgent warning from the Lord not to go too far with modernist changes?
Could it be that the Lord wishes to draw attention to the danger of the spiritual euphoria—or madness—surrounding doctrinal changes and the inventions of the modernist hierarchy (intended to entertain the bored faithful in light of the loss of the Sacred), with its last two popes (the Argentine one and his current successor), cardinals, bishops, priests, and religious, who occupy all the leadership positions in the 21st-century Catholic Church.

Maybe they’ve gone crazy…

But did they “voluntarily” go crazy?

Yes… “unfortunately”, they’ve gone crazy…

A Catholic priest uses a filter to appear as a drag queen in his TikTok videos. Father R. F., a priest of the Archdiocese of Genoa, uses a drag queen-style digital filter in several of his TikTok videos, applying exaggerated makeup, long eyelashes, brightly colored lipstick, and feminine accessories. Father F. served at the Santissima Annunziata parish in Genoa. In September 2026, the Archdiocese of Genoa promoted him to oversee and modernize its radio and digital communications division, which is now considered his “digital parish.” (gloria.tv)

SMALL REMNANT, let us remain faithful to the Catholic Church during these times of rampant apostasy and let us not abandon the Ship of Peter even if everything were to get worse; there are still many good and holy priests, but they are proceeding with their hands and feet bound because of the modernist hierarchies.

LET US PRAY unceasingly for the CONVERSION and SALVATION of Pope Leo XIV, of all the modernists who elected him, and of those he has been choosing, since the beginning of his pontificate, to lead the people of God (bishops, priests, religious, deacons, and “deaconesses,” laymen and laywomen, who wish to replace the consecrated…), so that what happened on October 17, 2026, in Ecuador may not happen to the Catholic Church.

  1. Nothing happens in the world without God’s will or permission. This applies absolutely to all things, except for sin. “Nothing,” the Fathers and Doctors of the Church—along with Saint Augustine—unanimously teach us, “happens by chance in the course of our lives; God intervenes in everything.” (…). Saint Augustine says: “Everything that happens to us here on earth against our will—whether from other people or from elsewhere—happens only by God’s will, through the workings of Providence, by His decrees, and under His guidance; and if, given the weakness of our minds, we cannot grasp the reason for this or that event, let us attribute it to Divine Providence, let us pay it this honor by accepting it from His hand, and let us firmly believe that He sends it to us for a reason.”
(…) Let us therefore take care to attribute everything to God’s will and let us also believe that everything is guided by His fatherly hand. (itresentieri.it)

  3. Until the 1960s, Catholics worshipped “Ad Orientem”, with priest and congregation facing the East during Mass. Originally Christians celebrated Mass before daybreak Sunday morning with the rising sun serving as a symbol of Christ’s Resurrection.
