1. The importance of discernment

1.1. The visionaries, the messages, the prophecies…

«My dear children,

I have recently warned you once again against the so-called “messages” attributed to “your servant, to his good Mother, to his saints, or to his angels”, which are proliferating on the Web.

Some are transmitted by visionaries who are often in vogue, eagerly awaited, and then freely disseminated by their die-hard followers, who accept them unquestioningly.

While, in general, these messages echo the truths taught by my Catholic Church, some now also warn of apocalyptic events presented as inevitable, and prescribe solutions for protection or escape that are simply grotesque.

1.2. Do not be deceived; stay cautious…

Finally, to top it all off, when the supposed prophecies fail to come true, new messages appear explaining that the Heavenly Father, moved by a flood of prayers, has ultimately decided not to carry out his terrifying plans.

I ask you once again, my dear little ones, not to be deceived and to remain cautious, for because of such messages, many sensitive souls sink into fear and insecurity, abandon their jobs, leave their homes, or sell their houses to move to regions that, according to the so-called “seers,” will be protected when the foretold events occur.

Others are stockpiling food and supplies in anticipation—salt and blessed candles, medals and scapulars—believing these will protect them from what is to come and from the work of demons.

Such practices are inappropriate, even superstitious, and unworthy of any Christian!

2. What matters when it comes to protection…

You know well, my children, that it is above all the purity of your hearts and the holiness of your lives that matter to me—purity and holiness that you must preserve in all circumstances and until your last breath, for they are the key to the Kingdom of Heaven. And you must know that they have, in truth, far greater impact on the forces of Evil than you can imagine.

2.1. Sacramentals…

As for the sacramentals mentioned earlier [1], they must not be regarded as the amulets or tattoos worn by pagans, but as means to remind you that your vocation as Christians is none other than holiness.

2.2. How to obtain Graces…

As for the graces you ask of Me—whether directly or through My Blessed Mother or any other saint—they are granted to you only if your hearts are properly disposed to receive them and if they are in accordance with the will of the Holy Trinity.

2.3. The virtue of hope…

Understand also that if you spend your time feasting on prophecies of doom—which, more often than not, stem from the very ramblings and anxieties of those who spread them, or even from the Evil One or his minions—it is because you do not have sufficient trust in your Lord and have lost the virtue of hope. So pull yourselves together, and in your panic and distress, let yourselves be comforted by the One who is to be your refuge and strength (Psalm 46).

3. The only thing that matters to Me is…

The only thing that matters to Me, in fact, regardless of the circumstances, is the greatness of your faith and your trust in the Holy Trinity, your degree of perfection, and your spirit of surrender.

3.1. Avoid. . . (1)

Pressured by so-called “messages,” do not allow yourselves to be turned into prayer machines who, eager to protect themselves at any cost and to the detriment of their duties, spend their time mechanically repeating invocations as if they were magic spells intended to ward off misfortune. As I have told you, pagans do the same, imagining that by repeating words over and over, their prayers will be answered (Mt 6:7).

My children, pray instead discreetly and with all your heart.

3.2. Avoid. . . (2)

Finally, avoid judging with contempt or looking down on those who do not subscribe to the so-called “messages” you are so fond of. This attitude, in fact, is perfectly legitimate, since such so-called “private” revelations—as well as these messages themselves—are not an article of faith. Rather, my little ones, be diligent in reading the Holy Scriptures—especially the Gospel—and the Catechism of my Catholic Church.

Pray that the Father’s Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, and remain hopeful.

3.3. Avoid. . . (3)

Some of you, however, are determined at all costs to see many of the prophecies formulated in the last century and now repeated come to pass, so that you can then say:

“You see, the Lord (or the Blessed Virgin) was right: France has declared war on Russia… Civil war is ravaging the country… etc…”

But in practical terms, whether these prophecies [2] are true or false, what do they bring you?

In what way have they made you holier and more charitable toward your brothers and sisters?

What has become of your virtue of hope?

4. “Well, I say to you…”

Well, I say to you:

Pray, my dear children, with all your heart that the Father’s Will be done, and do not worry about tomorrow (Mt 6:34), for God rules over the nations, subdues the wicked, and destroys war (Psalm 46, 10–11).

Dio Padre

So, keep your trust in your Lord, in His holy Mother, and in the power of sincere prayer, and do not dwell any longer on all the alarming talk that abounds on the Web; you would waste your time and undermine your faith.

I bless you».

  1. “Sacramentals” are the sacred signs instituted by the Church, whose purpose is to prepare people to receive the fruits of the Sacraments and to sanctify the various circumstances of life.
  2. Prophecies are predictions of the future.
