1. Prologue
To understand the time of purification for the Church and the World, one must take into account the following references or foreshadowing signs that prepare for the Second Coming of Jesus on Earth as King (Intermediate Parousia), which inaugurates the ERA of PEACE (the thousand years of the Happy Kingdom).

3. Earthly calendar of the time of the Tribulation
Father James Manjackal [2], Catholic priest, India, July 26, 2025: «The Tribulation that awaits us Christians in the very near future. By ‘very near future,’ I mean the next 7–8 years (2025/26–2032). Why do I say 7–8 years? We Christians will face a great tribulation because in 2033 we will celebrate the Great Jubilee of Jesus, who brings salvation to humanity.”
4. Signs Foretelling the Glorious Return of Christ
4.1. The Intermediate Parousia
The term “Parousia” means “the Coming of Jesus—or the Presence of Jesus—into this world.” The term “Parousia” is of Greek origin. Its etymological meaning is: “Providential arrival of a powerful figure, who through his presence saves people who have fallen into disgrace (and are unable to rise again on their own).”
4.2. The 5 signs described in Holy Scripture
Our Lady: “Let yourselves be gently guided by Me [3], my beloved children … I have told you many times that the end of time is drawing near and that Jesus is coming in glory. Now I wish to help you understand the signs described in Sacred Scripture, which indicate that His Glorious Return is now near. These signs are clearly indicated in the Gospels, in the Letters of St. Peter and St. Paul, and are being fulfilled in these years».
4.3. Sign No. 1: The Spread of Errors
Our Lady: «The first sign is the spread of errors, which lead to the loss of faith and to Apostasy. These errors are propagated by false teachers, by renowned theologians who no longer teach the truths of the Gospel, but rather pernicious heresies based on erroneous and human reasoning. It is because of the teaching of errors that the true faith is lost and the Great Apostasy spreads everywhere».
St. Paul the Apostle: “The day of the Lord will not come until the Great Apostasy has taken place” (2 Thess. 2:3).
St. Matthew the Apostle: “Be on guard and do not be deceived. For many will try to deceive many people. False prophets will come and deceive many” (Mt. 24:5–9).
St. Peter, Pope: “False teachers will come among you. They will try to spread disastrous heresies and will even turn against the Lord who saved them. Many will listen to them and, like them, live immoral lives. Because of them, the Christian faith will be despised. Driven by a desire for wealth, they will deceive you with false reasoning” (2 Pet. 2:1–3).
4.4. Sign No. 2: Wars and Natural Disasters
Our Lady: «The second sign is the outbreak of wars and fratricidal conflicts, leading to the prevalence of violence and hatred and a general cooling of charity, while natural disasters such as epidemics, famines, floods, and earthquakes become increasingly frequent».
St. Matthew the Apostle: “When you hear of wars, near or far, do not be afraid; this must take place. Nations will fight against one another, and one kingdom against another. There will be famines and earthquakes in many regions. All this will be only the beginning of greater sufferings. Evil will be so widespread that the love of many will grow cold. But God will save those who endure to the end.” (Mt. 24:6–12).
4.5. Sign No. 3: Persecution of Believers
Our Lady: «The third sign is the bloody persecution of those who remain faithful to Jesus and His Gospel and stand firm in the true faith. Meanwhile, the Gospel is being preached in every part of the world. Consider, beloved children, the great persecutions to which the Church is subjected and the apostolic zeal of the last Popes… in bringing the proclamation of the Gospel to all the nations of the earth».
St. Matthew the Apostle: “You will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated by all because of me. Then many will fall away from the faith; they will hate and betray one another. Meanwhile, the message of the Kingdom of God will be proclaimed throughout the world; all peoples must hear it. And then the end will come” (Mt. 24:9-10).
4.6. Sign No. 4: The Horrible Sacrilege
Our Lady: «The fourth sign is the horrible sacrilege, committed by the one who opposes Christ, that is, the Antichrist. He will enter the holy temple of God and sit on His throne, demanding to be worshiped as God Himself».
St. Paul the Apostle: “This man will come to oppose everything that men worship and call God. The wicked one will come with the power of Satan, with all the force of false miracles and false wonders. He will use every kind of evil deception to do harm” (2 Thess. 2:4–9).
Saint Matthew the Apostle: “One day you will see in the holy place the one who commits the horrible sacrilege. The prophet Daniel spoke of this. Let the reader understand” (Mt 24:15).
Our Lady: “Beloved children, to understand what this horrible sacrilege consists of, read what is foretold by the prophet Daniel.”
The Prophet Daniel: “Go, Daniel, these words are hidden and sealed until the time of the end. Many will be purified, made spotless, and made whole, but the wicked will continue to act wickedly. None of the wicked will understand these things, but the wise will understand them. Now, from the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days (about 3½ years). Blessed is the one who waits patiently and reaches 1,335 days” (*) (Dan. 12:9–12).
Our Lady: «The Holy Mass is the daily sacrifice, the pure offering presented to the Lord everywhere, from sunrise to sunset. The sacrifice of the Mass renews that performed by Jesus on Calvary. By embracing Protestant doctrine, it will be claimed that the Mass is not a sacrifice, but merely the Lord’s Supper—that is, the remembrance of what Jesus did at his Last Supper. And thus the celebration of the Holy Mass will be suppressed. In this abolition of the daily sacrifice lies the horrible sacrilege committed by the Antichrist, whose reign will last about three and a half years, that is, 1,290 days».
4.7. Sign No. 5: Extraordinary phenomena
Our Lady: «The fifth sign consists of extraordinary phenomena occurring in the firmament of the heavens.”
St. Matthew the Apostle: “The sun will be darkened, the moon will lose its splendor, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken” (Mt. 24:29).
Our Lady: «The miracle of the sun, which occurred in Fatima during my last apparition, is meant to show you that you have now entered the times when these events will take place, which prepare you for the return of Jesus in glory».
Saint Matthew the Apostle: “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. All the peoples of the earth will mourn, and men will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with great power and glory” (Mt. 20:40).
4.8. Sign No. 6: The Conversion of Israel, the Final Act for the Return of Christ
Father Curzio Nitoglia [4]: «The Apostle to the Gentiles [St. Paul] shows that ‘the “once-chosen” people have not been totally rejected by God, even because of their many elect, who have converted and will convert individually (not yet “en masse” as toward the end of the world) to Christ in the course of time.’ In fact, not only was St. Paul not rejected, but God has not rejected the ‘once-chosen’ people “as regards those whom He has chosen,” that is, as regards those who will convert individually to Christ. […] St. Thomas Aquinas: “at the end of the world the hearts of the children will be converted.” […] We are on the eve of something terrible and great: God’s justice and mercy are about to be powerfully exercised upon the entire modern world, which is facing the convulsions of its final agony. The apostasy of the Jews led to the destruction of Judea (70–135 AD). The apostasy of the Gentiles will lead us to something similar. For nations cannot be punished like individual men with eternal hell in the afterlife and must therefore be corrected in this earthly life (St. Augustine)».
5. The signs preceding the Apostasy and Purification of the Church
The Blessed Virgin: «The refusal to return to God through conversion has led all of humanity down the barren and cold path of hatred, violence, sin, and ever-increasing impurity. … People do not want to recognize sin as an evil; on the contrary, it is openly justified and exalted as a good. People no longer go to confession. They habitually live and die in mortal sin, and every day countless souls go to hell because there is no one praying and making sacrifices for their salvation.
My request that the Pope, together with all the bishops, consecrate Russia to Me was not heeded, and so it has spread its errors throughout the world. You live in a world that has built a new civilization, one that is atheistic and anti-human. But now you are beginning to experience what I foretold to you at Fatima […] Various signs indicate to you that the time of purification has come for the Church»
5.1. First Sign: CONFUSION
«The first of these is the confusion that reigns among you. For this is indeed the time of the greatest confusion. Confusion has spread within the Church, where everything is being overturned in the areas of dogma, liturgy, and discipline. […] Error is spread in the most dangerous way, that is, as a new and updated way of understanding the Truth; and this ends up subverting the very truths that are the foundation of the Catholic faith. They are not openly denied, but are accepted in an ambiguous manner, leading to the gravest compromise with error in doctrine that has ever been made.
In the end, people still speak and discuss, but they no longer believe, and the darkness of error spreads. The confusion, which tends to reign within the Church and to subvert its truths, is the first sign that indicates with certainty that the time has come for its purification.”
But now her Adversary has succeeded in bringing so much darkness into her midst through his subtle and deceitful work. And today the Church is obscured by the smoke of Satan. Satan has first of all obscured the intelligence and thought of so many of my children (the clergy), seducing them with pride and arrogance, and through them he has obscured the Church».
5.2. Second Sign: INDISCIPLINE
«My Heart is wounded once again at seeing how many of my beloved children (the clergy) openly despise the laws proper to the priestly state. Thus, indiscipline spreads throughout the Church and claims victims even among her own Shepherds. This is the second sign indicating to you that the final hour of purification has come for the Church: widespread indiscipline at all levels, especially among the clergy.
Indiscipline is the lack of inner docility to God’s will, which manifests itself in the transgression of the obligations proper to your state: the obligation of prayer, of setting a good example, and of a holy and apostolic life.
How many priests are there who allow themselves to be absorbed by disorderly activity and no longer pray! They habitually neglect the Liturgy of the Hours, meditation, and the recitation of the Holy Rosary. They limit prayer to a hurried celebration of Holy Mass.
Thus, these poor sons of mine are emptied from within and no longer have the light and strength to resist the many snares amidst which they live. They are therefore contaminated by the spirit of the world and accept its way of life, share its values, participate in its profane manifestations, allow themselves to be influenced by its means of propaganda, and in the end are clothed in its very mentality.
They then end up living as ministers of the world, according to its spirit, which they justify and spread, causing scandal among so many of the faithful. From this arises the widespread rebellion against the canonical norms that regulate the life of priests and the recurring challenge to the obligation of sacred celibacy, willed by Jesus through His Church.
[…] And it is a sign of indiscipline how easily the norms the Church has established to regulate liturgical and ecclesiastical life are neglected. Today everyone tends to act according to their own taste or whim, and with what scandalous ease the norms of the Church are violated—norms reaffirmed time and again by the Holy Father, such as the obligation for priests to wear ecclesiastical vestments. Unfortunately, sometimes the first to continue disobeying this requirement are the very Shepherds themselves, and it is from their bad example that indiscipline then spreads to every sector of the Church.
This disorder, which is spreading within the Church, clearly indicates to you that the final moment of her purification has arrived».
5.3. Third Sign: DIVISION
«Today my Immaculate Heart is anxious and anguished at seeing the Church internally divided. This division, which has penetrated the Church, is the third sign that clearly indicates to you that the final moment of her painful purification has arrived.
[…] But in these times, my Adversary, with his smoke, has also succeeded in obscuring the light of this divine prerogative of hers. The internal division manifests itself among the faithful themselves, who often turn against one another in an attempt to better defend and proclaim the truth. Thus, the truth is betrayed by them, for the Gospel of my Son cannot be divided. This internal division sometimes even leads priests to turn against priests, bishops against bishops, and cardinals against cardinals, for never before has Satan succeeded in infiltrating their midst as he has in these times, tearing apart the precious bond of their mutual and reciprocal love».
5.4. Fourth Sign: PERSECUTION
«The storm I foretold at Fatima for the purification of the Church and the whole world has now been unleashed. […] The fourth sign, which indicates to you that the Church has reached the culminating period of her painful purification, is PERSECUTION.
The Church is, in fact, persecuted in various ways. She is persecuted by the world in which she lives and walks, showing everyone the path to salvation. It is the true enemies of God—those who have consciously set themselves against God to lead all humanity to live without Him—who increasingly persecute the Church.
At times, she is persecuted openly and violently; she is stripped of everything and prevented from proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus. But in these times, the Church is often subjected to a greater trial; she is persecuted in a subtle and painless way, slowly depriving her of the oxygen she needs to live. They then seek to lead her into compromise with the spirit of the world, which thus enters her interior and conditions and paralyzes her vitality.
Collaboration has often turned into the most insidious form of persecution; the ostentatious display of respect toward Her has become the surest way to strike at her. A new technique has been discovered to kill her without fanfare and without the shedding of blood. The Church is also persecuted from within, especially by those of her children who have compromised with her Adversary.
He has even succeeded in seducing some of her own Shepherds. Even among them are those who knowingly collaborate in this plan of internal and hidden persecution of my Church. My beloved children are called to the trial of sometimes feeling hindered, marginalized, and persecuted by some of their own brothers, while those who are unfaithful have ample and easy scope for their actions.
6. The Great Apostasy and the Little Remnant
«The hour of the great apostasy has come. What was foretold in Sacred Scripture, in St. Paul’s Second Letter to the Thessalonians, is now coming to pass.
Satan, my Adversary, through deception and by means of his subtle seduction, has succeeded in spreading errors everywhere, in the form of new and more up-to-date interpretations of the truth, and in leading many to consciously choose and live in sin, in the deceptive belief that it is no longer an evil, but rather a value and a good. The times of general confusion and the greatest turmoil of the spirits have arrived. Confusion has entered the souls and lives of so many of my children.
This great apostasy is spreading ever more widely even within the Catholic Church. Errors are being taught and disseminated, while the fundamental truths of the faith—which the authentic Magisterium of the Church has always taught and vigorously defended against any heretical deviation—are so easily denied.
[…] The victims of the Great Apostasy are my children who, often unknowingly, allow themselves to be swept away by this wave of error and evil.
The victims of the Great Apostasy are many bishops, priests, religious, and faithful.
In these times, a small remnant will remain within the Catholic Church that will be faithful to Christ, to the Gospel, and to all its Truth».
[…] My beloved children, the same hours of suffering that my Son Jesus experienced are also being prepared for you: the hours of Gethsemane, in which He felt the inner agony of being abandoned, betrayed, and denied by His own. If this is the path taken by the Master, it is also the path that you, His faithful disciples, must now take, while the purification of the whole Church will become more painful».
7. What will the “Purification” of the Church be like?
7.1. The third part of the secret revealed on July 13, 1917
Sister Lucia: «[…] And we saw, in an immense light that is God: ‘something like the way people are seen in a mirror when they pass in front of it,’ a Bishop dressed in white; ‘we had the feeling that it was the Holy Father.’ Several other bishops, priests, and men and women religious were climbing a steep mountain, at the top of which stood a large cross made of rough logs, as if of cork with its bark still on; the Holy Father, before reaching it, passed through a large city half in ruins; trembling and with unsteady steps, afflicted by pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he encountered along his path; Upon reaching the summit of the mountain, prostrate on his knees at the foot of the great Cross, he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired several gunshots and arrows at him, and in the same manner, one after another, the bishops, priests, men and women religious, and various lay people—men and women of various classes and positions—died. Beneath the two arms of the Cross stood two Angels, each holding a crystal sprinkler in their hand, in which they collected the blood of the Martyrs and with it watered the souls drawing near to God». 7.2. Fatima and Akita
Third Secret of Fatima contains no more and no less than the message Our Lady repeated to Sr. Agnes Sasagawa, in Akita, Japan, which is fully approved by the Church and therefore has a canonical status “equal” to that of Fatima, on October 13, 1973, exactly 56 years after the last message of Fatima and the Miracle of the Sun:
“It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one has never seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the pope, the bishops and priests.
The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres … churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.
The demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will be no longer pardon for them.” [6].

Amen." 
"Oh, blessed Saint Michael, protect us from the attacks and snares of the evil spirits because you know full well that we are poor mortals, fragile and weak, in need of the Mercy of God and of your protection to fulfill the mission that Heaven has commissioned to us. Oh, Saint Michael, may your victorious cry: “who is like God? no one is like God”, suppress and cast into Hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the destruction of souls. Amen"
Come, Holy Spirit, send to us from Heaven a ray of your light. Come, Father of the poor, come, giver of gifts, come, light of hearts. Perfect comforter, sweet guest of the soul, sweetest relief. In toil, rest, in heat, shelter, in weeping comfort. O most blessed light, invade into the depths the hearts of your faithful. Without your strength nothing is in man, nothing is without fault. Wash what is sordid, bathe what is parched, heal what bleeds. Bend that which is stiff, warm that which is icy, straighten that which is astray.
