“Learn this lesson from the fig tree: When its branches become tender and put forth leaves, you know that summer is near; so also, when you see these things happening, know that he (the Lord) is near, at the very gates. […] Be on guard; keep watch, for you do not know when the exact time will come” (Mark 13:28–33). .

We are in the prelude to the purification of the Earth, according to the visions of two proven seers with a track record of accuracy: Sister Lucia of Fatima [1] and Marie-Julie Jahenny [2].

§1

1. Marie-Julie Jahenny: The Century of Confusion

Almost 100 years ago, Marie-Julie Jahenny spoke of something that is seen today at every level of daily life; she spoke of the century of confusion. In it, the truth would cease to be recognized as truth, because it would be ridiculed.

Marie-Julie Jahenny said that:

• –A time would come when faith would be viewed as madness;
• –Morality would be treated as weakness;
• –Consistency of life would be seen as fanaticism in the family, in education, in culture, and in everyday conversation.

Marie-Julie Jahenny described the spiritual illness:

• –What is good is no longer recognized as good.
• –What is evil becomes normalized because “everyone does it.”
• –Truth ceases to be a fixed point and becomes opinion.

This eclipses faith.

Marie-Julie Jahenny spoke of two Churches:

• –A small, poor, silent one, which remains faithful;
• –And another large, visible, noisy one, which adapts to the world so as not to cause discomfort.
• –And that the confusion would not begin when the Church was attacked from the outside, but when it grew accustomed to living without the cross.
• –And the inner confusion would end in outward division.

The crisis does not begin with wars or invasions, but with something more every day:

• –Authority is not recognized.
• –Institutions continue to exist, but they no longer inspire obedience.

Not because power is lacking, but because moral trust has been lost. When that happens, society continues to function by inertia for a time. But slowly it begins to tear apart. Not in great explosions, but in small ruptures:

• –Families divided by opposing ideas.
• –Communities pitted against one another by political or cultural identities.
• –Churches where the faithful no longer speak the same spiritual language.
• –States unable to make decisions without internal conflict.

Today that process is underway. And that is where Fatima comes in.

2. Sister Lucia and The Third Secret of Fatima

The vision of the Third Secret published by the Vatican in 2000 (this was written by Sister Lucia in 1944) shows an Angel with a flaming sword hovering over the Earth’s axis, threatening to set the world ablaze. But at that moment, the Virgin stops him, and the flame is extinguished by the light emanating from her hands. And then the Angel cries out three times for penance, but the threat remains.

And then, the vision changes scene…

Sister Lucia sees a great city in ruins. There, the Pope walks with difficulty, among corpses and rubble, possibly from a war. He is accompanied by bishops, priests, religious, and the faithful, walking toward a cross. And when they arrive, the Pope and the others are killed by a group of soldiers. Finally, two Angels gather the blood of the martyrs, like a seed to be planted.

And to further enrich the vision, the figure of a Pope appears, along with another bishop dressed in white, whose identity is in doubt. This illustrates the division within the Church and the crisis of legitimacy among its authorities.

3. Another vision of Sister Lucia

In 1944, Sister Lucia received another vision, which was only revealed in 2013 by the Carmelite Monastery of Coimbra, in the book “A Pathway under the Gaze of Mary.”

Sister Lucia sees how the tip of the Angel’s spear finally touched the Earth’s axis. And that gesture is enough to make the world tremble:

• –Mountains, cities, and towns are swallowed up.
• –The sea and rivers overflow, sweeping away entire regions.
• –The Earth shakes from one end to the other, and humanity bears the brunt of its own disorder.

That is what Sister Lucia calls the purification (and what Marie-Julie Jahenny, for her part, saw, coincides almost point by point).

Sister Lucia describes that:

• –The world will be struck at its very foundation.
• –The earth will seem to tilt off its axis.

• –The sea will advance further than is believed possible.
• –Great cities will be swallowed up.
• –And a night will come when everything will be shaken.

And she describes in detail:

• –Civil conflicts in Europe, caused by Islamists and leftists;
• –The invasion of Russia from the east and by Muslims from the south.
• –And also, a great war with nuclear explosions.

4. God’s Decisive Intervention

Sister Lucia added what will happen with God’s decisive intervention in people’s consciences (the Warning).

“There will come a moment when all men will see the state of their souls as God sees them. Each one will know what he has done against God’s Law. It will be the hour of the great return, or of despair, depending on the disposition of the heart.”

And after the upheaval, Sister Lucia hears a consoling phrase:

• –In time, one Faith, one Baptism, one Church (that is, the restoration).
• –It is not the end of the world. It is the end of the age of confusion.
• –Humanity does not disappear. Disorder disappears.
• –The Church is not extinguished. It is purified.

5. Marie-Julie Jahenny: Two Signs

That is what Marie-Julie Jahenny also announced with two signs:

• –On the one hand, a king chosen by God will liberate Europe.
• –And on the other, the Church, with an Angelic Pope, will rise again simplified, purified, and luminous.
• –No more doctrinal confusion.
• –No more discourse that tries to please the world.
• –The purification brings an end to the age of confusion. And what begins is the age of clarity.

That is the essential point: There will be an end to the cycle. And we are at the point of transition.

6. So where exactly do we stand with those prophecies?

• –We are in a process that has already begun.
• –Truth is no longer a fixed point.
• –Each person constructs their own moral criteria.
• –Faith is lived as a cultural accessory, not as a foundation.
• –The Church is internally divided, not by external persecution, but by worldview.
• –Society no longer recognizes legitimate authority.
• –Coexistence is sustained by inertia, not by agreement.

This is exactly what Jahenny described as the preliminary stage. And it is also the stage that Fatima considered fulfilled as of the 20th century. We are in the century of confusion, as a prelude to the purification of the Earth. We are in the intermediate phase, in the moment before the Angel strikes the Earth’s axis with his sword.

1. Marie-Julie Jahenny was born in Coyault on February the 12th 1850 in the village of Blain in Brittany, France. When she was three or four, her family moved to a cottage in a hamlet called La Fraudais just northeast of Blain where she lived for the rest of her life. She was the eldest of five children, and as with many of God’s chosen souls, she came from a humble background. Her parents, Charles and Marie Boya, were hardworking and pious peasants. Little did they suspect that their daughter would be granted an extraordinary number of graces by Heaven and be given a special mission: to spread the love of the Cross and the importance of holy suffering, becoming a victim soul to make reparation to God and save sinners. Through her Heaven would remind the world of the coming chastisements foretold by so many other saints and mystics, and forewarned those who would listen on how to prepare both spiritually and temporally, calling to mind once again the numerous past prophecies regarding the appearance of a Great Monarch, a saintly ruler beloved by Heaven who would restore the Roman Catholic Faith after years of chastisements, persecution and desolation in union with an Angelic Pontiff who would reign over the Roman Catholic Church in the final days before the appearance of the Antichrist. This promised final time of peace and triumph would be the greatest that the Church and the world has ever known.
2. Lúcia de Jesus Rosa dos Santos, OCD, also known as Lúcia of Fátima and by her religious name Maria Lúcia of Jesus and of the Immaculate Heart, was a Discalced Carmelite from Portugal. Sister Lúcia and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto claimed to have witnessed the apparitions of Our Lady of Fátima in 1917. Her beatification process was opened in 2017. In 2023, she was declared venerable. Born in 1907 to landowning peasants on the outskirts of Fátima, Portugal, Lúcia came to prominence in 1917 as the oldest of the three child seers of the apparitions Our Lady of Fátima. This involved her and her two cousins, Francisco and Jacinta Marto, claiming to see the Virgin Mary in six apparitions. These apparitions sparked major interest, concluding with what is called the Miracle of the Sun being witnessed by tens of thousands in October of that year. After Francisco and Jacinta both died during the Spanish Flu, Lúcia remained the only living seer for the rest of her life.
