When war is declared between countries, the combatants are on the front line, although today’s aerial warfare is formidable and civilians are affected as much as combatants. You will continue your daily life as if nothing had happened. When war begins, do not be troubled, do not be afraid, because fear is a bad advisor. Keep your cool, do not give in to fear, it is truly a bad advisor. Do not let yourself be overcome by anxiety, no, you must not. I save and I call to Me, but whatever I decide, I am not—no, never—caught off guard. That is why, My children, take each day as it comes, pray and live in My presence at all hours of the day and night. Be good to one another, take care of your neighbor who may have fewer graces than you because he does not ask for them, perhaps he does not even know how to ask for them. §17. When the world is at war
(F1721) Jesus: «When the world is caught up in the turmoil of war, I will remain with My own. Pray, My children, and pray again. Prayer is so necessary; it is salvific, it is soothing, it is comforting. As long as you pray, you will be with Me, and I will not abandon you. Pray, and I will act; pray, and I will take care of you. I am the Master, and therefore I decide. I can also let things happen, but only what I decide to let happen.
