Prophetic vision of St. John Bosco about [the City of Seven Hills] and [the Land of the Boot], the two full moons [1] in the month of flowers (May) ushering in the New Era (after the Great Tribulation) and prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary to ask for protection for us and our loved ones.
It was written and sent to Pope Pius IX in 1870. On the eve of the Epiphany of 1870, Don Bosco had a vision in a dream, of which the part that refers to the [City of the Seven Hills] and the [Land of the Boot] is reported. It is absolutely noteworthy that that very same year 1870, September 20 saw the taking of Rome and the destruction of the Papal State after more than 1,000 years of existence.

«And you, [Land of the Boot], land of blessings, who has plunged you into desolation?
Say not your enemies; but your friends.
Do you not hear that your children ask for the bread of faith and find no one to break it for them?
What shall I do?
I will beat the shepherds, I will scatter the flock, that those sitting on the chair of Moses may seek good pastures and the flock meekly listen and feed.
But over the flock and over the shepherds My Hand will weigh: famine, pestilence, war will cause mothers to mourn the blood of their children and martyrs who died in enemy lands.
And, of you, O [City of Seven Hills], what will it be?
Ungrateful [City of Seven Hills], effeminate [City of Seven Hills], haughty [City of Seven Hills]!
You have come to such a point that you seek nothing else, nor anything else do you admire in your Sovereign, but luxury, forgetting that yours and His Glory lies on Golgotha. Now He is old, fallen, helpless, stripped; yet with His slave word He makes the world tremble.
[City of Seven Hills]! I will come four times to thee!
In the first (earthquakes and famine) I will strike thy lands and the inhabitants thereof.
In the second (Invasion of the bear and the crescent moon), I will bring slaughter and extermination to thy walls. Do you still not open your eye?
I will come the third (invaders in the walls of the vicar of the Lamb), I will break down the defenses and defenders, and at the Father’s command will subdue the reign of terror, fright and desolation.
But My wise men flee, My Law is still trampled upon, so the fourth visitation will come (destruction and death in the City of Seven Hills). Woe to you if My Law is still a vain name for you!
There will happen prevarications in the learned and the ignorant. Your blood and the blood of your children will wash away the stains you make on the Law of Your God.
War, plague, famine are the scourges with which the pride and malice of men will be beaten.
Where, O rich, are your magnificence, your mansions, your palaces?
They have become the garbage of the squares and streets!
But you, O priests, why do you not run and weep between the vestibule and the altar, invoking the suspension of the scourges?
Why do you not take the shield of faith and go above the roofs, into the houses, into the streets, into the squares, into every place even inaccessible, to carry the seed of My Word?
Are you unaware that this is the terrible two-edged sword that brings down My enemies and breaks the wrath of God and man?
These things must inexorably come one after another. Things happen too slowly.
But the August Queen of Heaven [2] is present. The power of the Lord is in His hands; He scatters like mist His enemies. She clothes the Venerable Old Man in all His ancient garments.
A violent hurricane will happen again.
Iniquity is consumed, sin will come to an end, and before two full moons of the month of flowers pass, the iris of peace will appear on the earth (The New Era, see footnote 1).
The great Minister will see the Bride (The Resurrection of the Church) of Her King dressed in festive garb. In all the world shall appear a sun so bright as never was from the flames of the Upper Room to this day, nor shall it be seen again until the last of days (the renewed Earth). »

In one of these full moons (in red) we would have (for those who survive the Great Tribulation), the Second Coming of Jesus as King and the inauguration of the New Era: New Heavens and New Earth, the 1,000-year Happy Kingdom.

On January 13, 1863, a soul accustomed to the Virgin’s favor was suddenly struck as if by a ray of divine light. She thought she saw demons pouring over the earth and causing untold ruin and carnage. At the same time the Blessed Virgin appeared saying that indeed demons had been unleashed in the world and that the time had come to invoke Her as the Queen of Angels and to ask Her to send Her Holy Legions to fight and annihilate the powers of hell.
The soul: «My Mother, You who are so good, could You not send Your Angels without our asking? »
The Blessed Virgin Mary: «No, prayer is a condition placed by God Himself to obtain graces. »
The soul: «Well, My Mother, would you like to teach me how we should pray to You?»
The Blessed Virgin dictated to her the prayer “August Queen of Heaven and Sovereign of Angels…” This prayer was spread throughout the Church, accompanied everywhere by extraordinary favors.

“August Queen of Heaven, Sovereign Queen of Angels, You who at the beginning received from God the power and the mission to crush the head of satan, we beseech You humbly, send your holy legions so that, on your orders and by your power, they will track down demons, fight them everywhere, curb their audacity and plunge them into the abyss.
O exalted Mother of God, send also St. Michael, the invincible commander of the Lord’s armies, in the fight against the emissaries of Hell among men. Destroy the plans of the wicked and humiliate all those who want evil. Obtain for them the grace of repentance and conversion, that they may give honor to the living Triune God and to You.
O our mighty Protector, through the resplendent Heavenly Spirits, guard over all the earth the churches, sacred places and especially the Blessed Sacrament of the altar. Prevent all defilement and destruction. The Angels are every moment waiting for your beckoning and burning with the desire to fulfill it.
O Heavenly Mother, protect finally also our things and our dwellings from the snares of enemies. Let the Holy Angels always dwell in them and bring you the blessing of the Most High.
Who can be compared to God? Oh good and tender Mother, you will always be our love and our hope.

"Oh, blessed Saint Michael, protect us from the attacks and snares of the evil spirits because you know full well that we are poor mortals, fragile and weak, in need of the Mercy of God and of your protection to fulfill the mission that Heaven has commissioned to us. Oh, Saint Michael, may your victorious cry: “who is like God? no one is like God”, suppress and cast into Hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the destruction of souls. Amen"
Come, Holy Spirit, send to us from Heaven a ray of your light. Come, Father of the poor, come, giver of gifts, come, light of hearts. Perfect comforter, sweet guest of the soul, sweetest relief. In toil, rest, in heat, shelter, in weeping comfort. O most blessed light, invade into the depths the hearts of your faithful. Without your strength nothing is in man, nothing is without fault. Wash what is sordid, bathe what is parched, heal what bleeds. Bend that which is stiff, warm that which is icy, straighten that which is astray. Give to your faithful who trust in you alone your Holy Gifts. Give virtue and reward, give holy death, give eternal joy. Amen.
